Was hoping to be part of the basic fun, is there any such thing as a waiting list?
Once the event is sold out, it's sold out; there is no waiting list. You have two options:
1. Find a team looking for additional members. There's usually a "Teams wanting players/ players wanting teams" thread here in the MouseAdventure forum.
2. Register for the Day in the Park event two weeks later. You'll get most of the same quests as the Basic event, but play non-competitively.

We have been playing as different combinations, different categories, different names since 2007. Our kids are old enough (15) that we thought we might give Advanced a try. Playing Advanced (which two of us have done once), is like childbirth. Absolutely hate it when you are in it, love the end result, then about two years later, you forget the pain and are ready to try again.
Can't wait! Thanks so much for bringing this event to us twice a year.

Thanks Cathy. Thought we might have a chance since I haven't seen the Heffatooies check in, but then I saw that Oswald Returns is back in full force as well as The Upside-Down Cakes are also back in Advanced.

For what it's worth, you guys are always one of the teams we consider as "having a chance"... along with all the teams you mentioned of course. Sounds like it will be a great competition and we are sorry we have to miss it!Oh yeah, we can't wait to compete against them again. Better tell the whole story: The Other Halves have been talking trash since we played our very first MA and think they can out play us... they'll be lucky to outlast MA because MA will outwit (survivor anyone?) Anyways besides competing against ourselves for a personal best, club 55 will be in personal competition with The Other Halves!
