Great review, this is going to be a definate place to try for DW and I next time we go.

"Although we think it's DOPEY that Pluto has been downgraded to a dwarf planet, which has made some people GRUMPY and others just SLEEPY, we are not BASHFUL in saying we would be HAPPY if Disney's Pluto would join us as an 8th dwarf. We think this is just what the DOC ordered and is nothing to SNEEZE at."

I love the diversity of WDW dining. But for every 10 people who like a place, you'll find at least 1 who doesn't. I had one meal at the Biergarten a few years ago, and it didn't go well. As a solo visitor I was seated with another family, and you would have thought that I was trying to steal their valuables or got caught leering at their daughter - they wanted NOTHING to do with me! And I must have arrived at a lull between buffet refreshes, as what they had was just a few leftovers - not at all like the pictures you showed in the article. I know I need to try again, but for now there are plenty of other Epcot eateries that have become my favorites.

In all the years I have been going to WDW there are a few of the pavillions I do not fancy eating at and Germany has always been one of them. But after reading this article and looking at the photos of the fantastic theming and the food on offer I may have to give it a go next time I visit.

I love German and Japanese food but hate communal dining. Just not my thing.
(I'd love to sit with Dan, though!)

I remember eating there when I was much younger and loving the Black Forest cake. Sounds like they don't serve it any more though. Might be time to go back to try it out again.
