Offsite stroller rental
Are there companies that rent strollers like in WDW? Specifically something like the Baby Jogger City Mini double? We were pretty sold on buying this one, but we found something we like for a WHOLE lot less (Graco Room2Grow) and M doesn't seem like a kid who will want to ride in a stroller much after 2 or so. So, it is getting harder to justify the cost of the City Mini and all the accessories we need/want. But, for big trips like DL, I am thinking we might like a little nicer stroller. Is there a place that rents them?

In the past, I have used Orlando Stroller Rental. They were wonderful to work with (met them personally at MouseFest one year) and thought it was a good value overall. There are other rental places as well that rent similar, if not identical models.
They are not "cheap" but they tend to be less expensive, and a whole lot more comfortable for the child, than the ones offered by Disney.
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!

Yes, GusMan- sorry, I meant DL. I have heard great things about Orlando Stroller Rentals, but when we finally get to Florida, we should hopefully only need one stroller (maybe none!).

When I was debating if I needed a double stroller for our trip to WDW, I considered buying a used one from http://www.kidsgalleryresale.com/index.html. They are in Anaheim so it is possible that they would rent one to you (or sell one to you with a guarantee that they would buy it back, possibly at a reduced price). No idea if that would work for you or them, but it's something to consider.
We have a double stroller that I love - the Britax B-Ready with the second seat - but are starting to use less and less as the kids get older. Depending on when you are going, it may be available?

I found this company that seems to be about the same price with no delivery fee to the Disneyland area- just FYI for anyone else looking! They rent out the City Mini which I REALLY wish we would have bought. We ended up with the Contours Optima, and I sort of hate it! I am really considering asking for a decent quality double umbrella type stroller for Christmas!

We have the single and LOVE it. But, my son is much more of a walker than a rider, so when I got pregnant again we decided it just wasn't worth the money after adding on the infant thing and the belly bar. But, now I think maybe it was. But, I am waiting it out- I am hopeful that I might like the Optima better once we aren't using the infant seat in a month or so. But, it is HORRIBLE to fold, so I don't know. But, I think the Mini double is still out of the question for now.

I think I am going to rent one from this place for our trip in October instead of borrowing one from a friend in AZ and having it take up space in the car. Thanks for the link.

Thought I'd leave a review for this and City Stroller Rentals. The stroller was waiting for us when we got to GCH. It was a green City Mini Double. It had a small parent console for Mommy and Daddy drinks and snacks and an insulated cooler/pocket. It was in very good condition. I would totally use them again!
