Now in the Land of Lincoln!

Will they be on the dining plan? Can we use our starbucks cards there? Yikes, so many questions! I say in DLR, either Tomorrowland or Main St, USA is going to get the Starbucks.

I read that the intrusion won't be so in your face kiowa. I don't like coffee but I do like the peppermint hot chocolate.

    Have a Disney Day!

Please do not put Starbucks in the Market House, the last bastion for a simple decent cup of coffee (refills free with receipt).

As if Starbucks isn't expensive enough, now they'll inflate to DL pricing? Yikes!

If they stay in line with what is availanle in the Citywalk at Universal, it isn't much more, maybe $.25 more for my mocha than my local starbucks.
Doc, I am able to use my gift card at the one in the Citywalk, but they are not corporate so they can't add to my card's balance. I also use my card at the ones in the Safeways around here.

As a side note. Fidler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe is one dumb sounding name even if it does go back to the early days of Walt Disney... Far easier to say to someone, "Ya wanna go get something at Starbucks".

But with most everything else, people will find shorter ways to refer to them. I'm probably inclined to just call it Fidler's, but I won't really know that until I've had to refer to it a few times.

We never go on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. We go on Indy. And unless we're with someone who doesn't know the shorter terms we use, we go on Space, Splash, Pirates, Mansion, small world, etc.
Now different is nice, but it sure isn't pretty, pretty is what it's about
I never met anyone who was different who couldn't figure that out
But beautiful, I'd never live to see
But it was clear, if not to her, well, then to me.
    blah blah blah blah

Yes, they are supposed to be themed Starbucks. I for one am happy to be able to get something besides yucky Nescafe!

If you read the press release I linked above and the Disney Parks Blog article you'll see that they will be themed, including the outfits the CMs wear.

For those still complaining about Starbucks "burnt" coffee, they have a blonde roast that is lighter than their regular roasted coffees for those who prefer that. If you haven't tried it, I would suggest it, assuming they carry those blends. Be aware that lighter roasts have more caffeine though.

They could put the Starbucks inside Innoventions. Might get more people in there, and it wouldn't clown up any visible part of the park. Hey-I've got an idea for new theme song lyrics-"There's are great big Caramel Macchiato, waiting in the Starbucks right this way".

I agree! I don't think any thing that is in a chain belongs in a Disney park! :S:S:S

I hope that means they'll comply with the Disney look and not the Starbucks look!

Good question. Isn't there a coffee cart right there by the Millenium Gateway (or whatever it's called), that could be a Tim Horton's?

Because it's an ersatz Disney version of Canada and not the real thing. If it was the real thing, O Canada! would be replaced with a full, sit-down Tim Hortons with hockey playing on every screen. Well, maybe we'd keep the movie, but it would be hosted by Rick Mercer.

As for Starbucks, thank goodness. Disneyland was feeling naked for not being populated by people holding Starbucks paper cups.
