I just wanted to throw this out there, I'm coming alone Thur night - Mon. If anyone wants to meet up to hit the parks or anything, let me know! I'll be at the meet up with Jeff Galloway Friday morning but other than that and the race I don't have any other plans.

I really want to be Cari, but am unsure. It will be a last call kind of thing. I can't stand for that long at this point in the pregnancy, and I think the only way I can get a seat for cheering is to buy a cheer package which I'm not going to do. It also depends on how hot it is. I really want to cheer from the esplanade so might go for that and then leave before you all finish. I'll have a better idea the Saturday before and can tell you then. If I'm not there, I'll definitely be cheering you on in spirit (and tracking!).

I'm "working" the Expo!!

Leah confirmed it today but I'll be working at the Sparkle Skirts booth Friday afternoon/evening. If you've ever considered a skirt, you MUST stop by at the Expo and try them on. There will be lots of skirt vendors there and I really do believe you have to try them on to be a believer and that just because you've tried on ONE skirt does not mean you've tried them all on.

But the Sparkle Skirts are the skirts that made me a believer so they're my skirt of choice! And I'm really excited to get to help out at the booth!!

(Peacock Bordeaux is just calling my name. It looks a little different on this page but either way I'd be a happy endurance athlete.)

And you can have your own (supposedly) texted to yourself, too. It was interesting one race, as soon as we'd cross a mat, everyone's phone would beep that a text had come int.

When is everyone planning on getting to the corrals? I was thinking around 5, which means leaving our hotel (Sheraton Park) around 4:30 and allowing enough time to walk and wait through bottlenecks.

Start time for "A" is 5:45 which means I wouldn't even see the start until after 6.

So, it turns out I will be there for the race. I won't get in for the Friday meet, but maybe we can coordinate another one. Maybe a Carthay Lounge post-race celebration?
