Anyone Hotel-Hop at WDW??

We've hopped exactly once. Split our 7-night stay between SSR and BCV. At the time, we had never stayed in either, and as DVC members wanted to give them a try. It was worthwhile to us, as we found we really like BCV and do not care for SSR. So it gave us a leg up for future visits. However, the transition was hectic and we wasted a good part of one day doing the move. We'll never do a split in one week again. However, we would seriously consider a split if we do a two-week visit, like between AKL or BLTand BCV or BWV.

The reason we would consider that split is that we really like the Epcot resorts location, and feel a letdown if we don't stay there. But one week fills our need, and we wouldn't mind trying something else.

We found out last summer that Disney makes hotel hopping really really easy. We spent 3 nights at Port Orleans - FQ and then moved to Wilderness Lodge for another 3 nights and I would do it again. The morning of the move we just had the bell hop pick up our bags and then we spent a long full day at the parks, returning to our new hotel late at night. We checked in and our bags were promptly delivered to our room. (check-in at an 'off' hour always goes very quickly, no standing in line)
