[Coast to Coast] C2C Medal Question
I ran a search and could not find anything on this question, sorry if its a repeat.
We are doing the Tinkerbell/Disneyland 1/2/Wine& Dine this year.
When signing up for Tinkerbell, I did not check that it was for a C2C medal.
Do I need to do that on both the Disneyland 1/2 and the Wine & Dine? Or do I just do it on the Wine & Dine, since that will be the race when we complete the requirements?
Thank you in advance for your help! This is our first year being serious about running, and all of it is just so new!

So you're running in Disneyland in January and Disneyworld in November, right?
When I did it a couple years ago, I didn't have to check anything on either race - but that's when it was one of two WDW races first and THEN the DL half in Sept. I just went to another line and got a second wristband to ID me at the finish that I got a C2C.
I'd presume if you have to check something now - you'd only do it on your second event of the year, where you'd actually GET the medal.
Good Luck with Tinkerbell!!!
Is it your first half?

This is what I believe to be the proper answer, too! They want to know if you're getting your C2C AT that race so they know to track you properly.

Well, then you're an old hat at this!
One thing that wasn't a factor when I did the DL 1/2 in September, but might be for the Tink is the 'throw away sweatshirt'. I'm presuming they'll do what they do in WDW -- but wear a sweatshirt in the corrals and before, and then once you get warmed up, discard it to the side of the course. They'll collect them and donate them. I just used an old sweatshirt that was 'working around the house only' and it really helped keep me more comfortable before the start when it's just a touch chilly because of the hour.
