We haven't gone, but plan to attend in 2004 - there's a review at All Ears Net - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with a link to reader comments at the end.
You can save about 14% - 19% off tickets by purchasing them in advance (click on "special events" link)
We went last year and we all loved it! Tickets were abt $37.00 each. I'm going again next December.
6/91& 11/03 - Polynesian///12/02 - All Star Music///11/98 & 5/00 - Grand Floridian
We went in December of 2000...had a great time. The only thing I wasn't prepared for was the crowds. I assumed since a "limited" number of tickets were sold that the park would not be crowded. Well it was jammed with people...wall to wall. But we still had a great time...worth the money.
Going to WDW in September
We went twice last year to MVMCP and once in 2001. If you order the tickets ahead of time you get around 5.00 off per ticket. Last year on our 2nd visit we had a lot of fun because the park didn't seem as crowded as our 1st visit. There is a lot of Christmas Shows that are just wonderful and a not to be missed thing. You get a photo taken along with hot chocolate and cookies as well as a pin. This is all in the price. Plus it snows on Main Street which even if it's warm you can't help but get into the spirit of Christmas. The snow isn't real of course but you honestly have to see it. Our 2 daughters as well as my wife and I honestly loved it. You can see the Christmas parade which runs twice as well as a special version of fireworks. Believe me you and your family will have a blast. We've done this 3 times and although it does get crowded, we have found if you can go on a Sunday the crowds don't seem as bad. Oh don't forget the characters will be out and about for photos. 1 more thing, don't miss Twas The Night Before Christmas held in Tommorow Land even if you chose not to see any of the shows. This is a Not To Be Missed Show!!! Have a great time!!! I'm not sure of the prices this year. Just check the website or call WDW. Chip.
You know they offered up the MVMCP tickets a couple of months earlier this year than they have before. I have to wonder if it will mean that more dates sell out this year. Mickey
Bert's Big Adventure takes a group of special needs kids and their families down to WDW each year. Please consider making a donation to this wonderful charity.
Hello,
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is great! It is easy to get tickets. You can call Disney directly and purchase your tickets - it is the main reservations line and they will direct you to the right department. They will mail your tickets right out to you.
Have a magical day!
