Any word on when this will be or when we will know? I need to start making spring travel plans, and would love to attend MA again! Thanks!

I was wondering who was posting this! Glad to see my teammate is on top of things!!
This is what was posted in the MAWE3 recap:
Our next events
MouseAdventure is currently planning three events in 2012, though dates and details are still being worked out among the crew and with Disney. We will post event and registration dates as soon as we confirm them, but those announcements may be as little as 90 days before the event. We do hope to return to Walt Disney World next fall for our fourth MouseAdventure World Explorers event, and we can definitely use your help to spread the word to prospective new Walt Disney World players. We absolutely love writing games for Walt Disney World, but we need to grow the Florida event to make it more affordable for our Troops. If you have friends, family, or co-workers who are Disney fans, tell them about MouseAdventure and encourage them to come out for an event!
Spring 2012 – Disneyland Resort
Fall 2012 – Disneyland Resort
Fall 2012 – Walt Disney World
We also plan to continue our Coast to Coast challenge for 2012. Eligibility requirements will be provided prior to the start of registration for the Spring 2012 Disneyland event, but interested teams should plan to register for both the Spring Disneyland event and the Fall Walt Disney World Event.
Keep reading MousePlanet for more information about our upcoming events—we post MouseAdventure updates in our weekly Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Updates, as well as on the front page of our site. We also strongly encourage you to sign up for our MouseAdventure mailing list to receive updates about future events as they are announced. Note: This is an opt-in only mailing list, which means that we have not already added the names of former MouseAdventure players to this list. If you would like to receive these updates, you will need to sign up for the list.

It's been 11 days, and no one's had time to answer me?
I love the game, and promote to all fans that I see. I'm not active on the board, but am a loyal fan.
I guess it's safe to assume that you have no clue what you are doing next spring yet or when you will know.
I hope you all have a blessed holiday, and look forward to when you are available to let us know.
Sorry we haven't answered. Unfortunately, we don't have a signed contract with Disneyland yet so we can't give you a date yet. As soon as we have a contract, we will let everyone know.
If you're a subscriber to the MA newsletter, you should have gotten an email today with the announcement of the upcoming dates for Spring 2012. Competitive will be on March 11, and Day at the Park will be on March 25. Further details to come in January!
Sweet! Got the newsletter & just made our hotel reservations.

I've been checking back daily because, this close in, we're probably going to have little notice before registration opens. I'm on pins and needles just waiting for the announcement!

Hi all!!! Longtime lurker and this is the first time I have considered doing MouseAdventure: so excited!!!! I have a couple of questions that weren't really answered by the MA sections on the site and hoped someone on the thread would help me. What has been the most recent price? I assumed the price for a team would increase as the years went on and popularity of the event increased but I couldn't find anything about the recent events' pricing. Is there a limit of how many teams may participate in the Basic quests? If so, how quickly do those registration spots go? How many people are allowed per team? In the pictures, I see mostly teams of 4; are there teams of 2 allowed?
Thank you for all of your help!!!
It depends on the event, the division, the number of days... I'm not trying to be vague, but there are a lot of factors. I think the last "normal" Basic event was around $130-ish.
Yes, but that varies by the event and format.
Again, it varies based on event and capacity, but the fastest sellout was 44 minutes.
Yes, your team can be 2, 3 or 4 people. We don't allow single-player teams, or teams of 5 or more.

Seriously consider designating someone to register the minute registration opens. That may mean going in late to work, waking up early, etc. because registration usually opens around 8 AM or 9 AM (which may vary - I'm not sure because I've already left for work by then and someone else registers our team each time). When we first started playing a few years ago, Basic registration didn't sell out for a couple of days. Now it's just a couple of hours (or even less, as Adrienne pointed out). MouseAdventure is definitely something I would highly recommend, so I'd say it's worth the trouble and expense to register! It's not going to be to everyone's taste, but you may just find a new favorite pastime.
A few suggestions to make your experience run smoothly:
1) Make sure the person registering your team knows all of the information that will be needed (each team member's name and e-mail, who's going to be designated the team leader, do you want to pay a little extra for personalized pins if available, method of payment - I think that's everything).
2) If you have annual passes, make sure you are not blocked on the date of MouseAdventure, because Disney admission is not included in the game price.
3) Read recaps for past MouseAdventures, just to get a taste of how difficult trivia is, common mistakes for teams, recurring quest formats, etc.
4) Go to the stickies for MouseAdventure Team Tips and MouseAdventure Toolkit, because there are some things teams have found helpful to bring that you just wouldn't expect (like tape, or rulers, or page protectors).
Hope to see you there!
Team "Club 34" - 2nd place Basic in The MouseAdventure Zone (Fall 2011)
Thank you so much for the answers!!! I do have a couple more questions (Sorry!!). Will we have the pricing and the timeline for the day before registration starts? I only ask because my friend that I am trying to convince to do this and I are very poor teachers
and money is def an issue for us. The other question I have is will we be at a disadvantage if we have less than 4 members for our team? Is it allowed on the site to advertise for spots on our team?
Thank you!
We *hope* to have pricing and format info very, very shortly, but definitely at least 10 days before registration opens. The final schedule is generally not released until right before the event.
Some teams feel that they are at a disadvantage with MORE than 2 players. Of our Masters teams (those who won 3 or more events, and are now "retired" from competition), one was a 2-player team, three were 3-player teams, and two were 4-player teams.
Yes. We usually have a "teams seeking players and players seeking teams" thread while registration is open. However, we do not let you add players to your team after registration has closed - it's always best to have your team formed and finalized BEFORE you register.
