Primeval Whirl's closed AGAIN? That attraction's down more than it's in operation!

Closed still, it appears. If it was re-opened, it was only briefly, based on the Attraction Closings section the last several weeks.

Primevil World reopened WEEKS ago! It's at 50% though as the side where the fatal accident happened has stayed closed, but the other side is running as normal as far as I know. The operational updates section of Mouseplanet does a pretty poor job overall with it's operational updates section for Disneyland and Disney World. I don't even think they bother to look at the Disney calendars at all, nor do they care when E-mailed with info that a closure is planned, or a planned closure is cancelled. NEVER trust that section from this site, be sure to verify on the actual WDW or DL website.

PW was open the week of 10/16. I rode it myself twice that week.

Just so you know, the "they" you reference above is Mark by himself, and he works very hard weekly to bring us a concise, bulleted list of updates to reference in one place. Of course it's a good idea to check directly with the official WDW website if an attraction is important to you. What's valuable about Mark's list is that you don't have to jump through a ton of hoops to find all the closed attractions on your trip, the way you have to do on the official site. It's not evident right away how to even find it there, unless you've done it before. Thank you, Mark.

    Thanks, Jenny.

I'm usually on top of stuff like this, but my son's Bar Mitzvah has been occupying much of the time that I would normally spend on information gathering for the Update. With the Bar Mitzvah over, I've got a week to prepare for MouseAdventure. I'm hoping that things will return to normal after that.

lnsemsf, I'm always happy to have additional sources or people letting me know that I missed things. Please feel free to forward any information that you may have to me and I'll include it in the Update.

I know people have lives and you can't be on top of everything. I've just noticed several closures which have been removed from the schedule were never removed from the updates, and others which take place can sometimes take weeks from when they're announced to pop up. I don't want to be insulting, but it's what I've noticed that it's been slow to update or inacurate. I just have always checked the official calendar on a near daily basis for both coasts parks so when i see something pop up and it's not mentioned a week later I had tried to e-mail and when the next week would come and it still hadn't changed I sorta gave up on the accuracy of the list. Again, it's not my site and I'm sure I couldnt do what's done here, it's just something I've noticed over the last year or 2 of weekly reading.

If you've sent email in the past and I've missed it, I sincerely apologize. I make an effort to reflect anything that people are reporting to me in the Updates. If you spot something that's not right, please drop me a line and I'll address it. Thanks!
