If they eliminate the wheelchair boats from It's a Small World, that would be simply heartbreaking. With Nathan and his wheelchair, it is one of our favorite family attractions. You know that Disney Magic, the one that give you the lump in the throat and the shiny eyes? That's me when Nathan's face lights up with wonder at the Xmas version of IASM. I will be interested to see what the situation is when it reopens in the Holiday version. I will be keeping both fingers crossed.

Disneyland Resort spokesperson Betsy Sanchez sent MousePlanet the following statement today about the wheelchair-accessible boat on "it's a small world,"
We made modifications to the ‘it’s a small world’ accessible boat and are currently in the final review and approval phase
The ride is currently closed for installation of the "it's a small world" holiday overlay, so we'll see if the boat is back in use when the ride reopens next week.
