    Hotel Toiletries?

Wahoo - I'm on the final countdown to my WDW trip and having a blonde moment. Last year when I stayed at Port Orleans I remember getting hotel toiletries but something was missing...can't remember if it was hair conditioner, or body lotion, or... Has anyone been down lately that can let me know for sure? I don't want to pack more than I have to - MUST LEAVE ROOM for goodies Thanks for the help!

Now planning my 40th WDW trip =D -- Saratoga Springs and BLT DVC Member!

We just arrived home from WL and they don't have conditioner. They do have plenty of Mickey bath & hand soap, shampoo, lotion and shower caps. Have fun!

    PS:
The All-Star resorts don't have regular bath soap. They have a dispenser in the tub with shampoo and body gel. I really didn't like it the last time we stayed there. We ran out and it took them a day to replace it. Very frustrating!!!

It has been a few years since I last stayed at PO but they didn't leave conditioner at that time.

For my own part, it's kind of hit-or-miss whether I even use hotel soap to wash my hands. I always carry a small bar of Neutrogena, and a Nalgene squeeze bottle of my usual shampoo.

There's one hotel, the Best Western Pioneer Square Hotel in Seattle, WA, that includes a bar of Neutrogena among the courtesy toiletries. Ain't never seen that anywhere else.

We were just at POR in February and the Shampoo has Conditioner in it, and there was no lotion. ~~

If you are after Neutragena products stay at Embassy Suites or most of the Hilton s I've stayed at have them!

I always bring a small conditioner and lotion with me because I don't like the combined shampoo/conditioner.

Actually, I really don't give a rodent's fundament what toiletries a hotel has, except that it's kind of nice when I do stumble upon a bar of Neutrogena, as it makes the one I always carry last a bit longer.

Do any of you get irritated when a hotel keeps replacing toiletries even though you're not using them?

Incidentally, if you travel by sleeping car, particularly if you're in a deluxe bedroom, Amtrak will usually provide you with a little basket of toiletries. A hotel-size bar of soap, shampoo, (maybe) conditioner, and a washrag, all shrink-wrapped together in a cute little basket. If I remember right, deluxe bedroom passengers may even get a tiny little package of "butt-gaskets" as well (although why you would need them in an accommodation with its own private toilet/shower cubicle I can't imagine!)

As I recall, I once left my Neutrogena on a train, and for the rest of that vacation, I was grateful for the hotel-supplied (or Amtrak-supplied) soap.

I hope that this is not considered as solicitation but more on the way of information. Just a post regarding those who get to many toiletries that they may never use. I just learned on the wdwig.com site that there is something that you can do with those left over toiletries. There is an area on that site marked soap for special kids. Those nice generous people give their time and say that if you are not using those left over toiletries obtained from your last stay on Disney property, please forward items to them for special little gift bags that they prepare for sick children (undergoing severe treatments) to give them a lift while stuck in a Children's Hospital. The bags look to be really cute and some even send Disney pins, stickers, etc. as well as the toiletries. Then a group assembles all of these items that were received and present them to the local children's hospital. I thought this was a great idea and just wanted to share.

I live and love to travel.
