CBFETT, you and I need to stick together as the arbiters of good taste! (Although I really like Boma . . .)

I think that was my biggest problem with Coral Reef. I felt like the menu was just too boring for being 'the fish place' in WDW. I prefer to go to Joe's Crab Shack out of WDW.

Other than that, we probably will never go back to Cinderella's for breakfast. Glad we did it once with my daughter at the right age, but I'm not a fan of the platter of breakfast they put in front of you.
We decided to do Hoop Dee Doo since it was a show that appealed to my FIL. I was really surprised on how much fun we ALL had, even the little kids. And to see one of the performers come and sit on my FILs lap and totally made him turn beet red was an added bonus. And although I'd never compare the food to "good BBQ", it was really tasty. I loved the fried chicken.
I have no interest in going to see the Luau.
And I agree we won't go back to Cinderella's. It was a great experience, but my girls were all in a great age range for it. The food was okay, and we went in knowing we were paying for the experience which was totally worth it....ONCE.
I have to say of the places we ate in September, there weren't any that I'd "never eat at again". We will try different character meals next time for variety (besides CRT we did Garden Grill), but we loved and would totally go back to 'Ohanas, Cape May, Captains Grill and Hoop Dee Doo. I'm not sure if I'd do T-Rex again. My food was good but it was really LOUD.
One that I don't care to ever try is Biergarten (don't like german food).

If you want a really good menu at a cool location, try Fulton's, the boat in Downtown Disney. It's one of my favorite new places!

Nine Dragons is awful. Worst breakfast is what I think they call restaurantosarus. I guess I tried to forget the name. How can someone ruin breakfast? Breakfastosarus, whatever.
-
I believe it's Restaurantosaurus. Breakfast is no longer served here; just lunch and dinner. Burgers, hot dogs, subs, chicken nuggets, etc. The character breakfast is now at Tusker House.

I had Fultons on my list until a co worker of my husbands said it was overpriced and just okfood.. Any comment? Worth the trip for a family of four seafood lovers?
-

I completely disagree with your husband's co-worker. Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but you really get what you pay for. I think I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 or 3 years, and had a terrific meal every time!

I'll agree with your husbands co-worker! The food...blah. It really isn't anything special food wise, and the interior seemed (to us) to be decorated in early Denny's! If you like places like Long John Silves or Red Lobster then you will love Fultons. I could be jaded though, as I live in a very seafood-rich area of the US.
That being said my only experience there was about 7 or 8 years ago??? So perhaps it has improved since.
Just my opinion - not right, not wrong, just mine

Wow - your experience and mine differ greatly, ericles! Amazing how people can have such different opinions about the same place.

T-rex looked way too busy/loud for me.
Other than that, i would say we wouldnt want to go anywhere offsite for meals. There is just too many cool choices onsite.

Yes, it is very loud with a lot of activitiy. Dont expect a lot of conversation around the dinner table unless you feel like talking real loud.
Its basically Rainforest Cafe, but set in the dinosaur age.
However, I think the menu choices are better than RFC and the service is real good, going off of my experiences. Its not "cheap" but Ive always enjoyed myself. I think the decor is rather unique and is probably the reason why most people go.
I would much rather go there than Rainforest Cafe, mainly because I have a RFC somewhat local to where I live.

I thought the menus were very similar....maybe different names but the same basic foods. I prefer RFC just because it wasn't as noisy. We opted for T-Rex in WDW because I have a dino loving 2 year old boy.

Maybe so... if nothing else, it just seemed like I could get what I wanted "easier" at T-Rex. I mean, at RFC, I could not even get American cheese on a burger. I mean, really? Maybe our server was having an off day.

Mine Is Le Cellier so called steak house, been there done that with no wish to return,
they offer limited choice of steaks, tough and no flavor, seating is so tight you can eat off someones else plate, dark and noisy, the service and check-in is an experience all in it self. You have to wait, and wait, and wait. Not A fan of Le Cellier,
I would go to the fish place before eating there again.
OH wait, I did, Excellent fish and chips with no wait.
I'll have to agree about Le Cellier. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the price. Cheese soup was pretty good, but I've had better steaks at Ryan's Steak house.

Sorry for the delayed response! I really wanted to eat there for lunch, but still haven't gotten there yet. The menu looks great and the prices are pretty good. Did you try lunch or only dinner?

I've only had dinner there, but I think I've dined 3 times at Fulton's and had a great meal every time!

Come to my house in the summer instead for Canadian steak. Very tasty, good company and more fun overall!!!

We are thinking of going to Fultons in June when we go. Do you need ADR's or is it usually a walk up (up to a half hour wait okay)? Trying to decide if we are going to make any real plans for our DtD day or just wing it.

About 6 years ago (right after Thanksgiving) my sister and her husband went ok without ADRs - but they put them in a kind of lousy table and their service wasn't the best. In June, I'd recommend an ADR just based on that experience.

I'd agree with my friend Cathy that June is probably going to be a busy time. I've been able to dine at Fulton's in the past without an ADR, but then I tend to visit during the not so busy times. It's a pretty big place, one of the few that will also take walkups as well as those with ADRs.

I'm just coming back from a Thanksgiving trip ( wonderful! ) and I have to say the one restaurant I would not go back to would be 50's Prime Time Cafe
the wait time was HORRIBLE even with ADR's and the service was just sad, no refills, no checking up on us, and the server never brought our change back from the tip, after waiting 20 minutes we left ( hefty tip for wretched service) Would have asked for a manager but we wanted to check out the Osbourne lights before the park closed
the food was actually really good but with so many great places to eat at WDW ,not even the pbj milkshake would bring me back ( although it really was awesome )
