I hate to sound like the ultimate Un-Disney person, but I have no desire to see the Hoop-De-Doo Revue or eat the food there. We've never done it, and none of us have any desire. Some people say, "How could you have gone to Disney World all of these years and never catch the Hoop-De-Doo? Sorry. No interest. Same goes for the luau at the Polynesian, and we LOVE the Polynesian.
Other than that, we probably will never go back to Cinderella's for breakfast. Glad we did it once with my daughter at the right age, but I'm not a fan of the platter of breakfast they put in front of you.

I don't know who runs Yak & Yeti, but I have to say that I've had one meal there and it was amazingly tasty, great service, and an interesting restaurant.

You're not alone. I've seen the clips, and the schtick onstage, while well performed, mostly consists of really old tired jokes. And the food has almost always had so-so reviews, and I can get great bbq here in Texas!

I agree with all you mentioned....to many trips to WDW and never done the Hoop or Luau, and don't have any desire to do either.
Not being cursed blessed with a daughter, we've only ever had to do Cindy's Castle once. That, too, was enough.

I also don't do buffets much anymore, but they were a godsend when junior was a teen. I will still go to Cape May, Boma and Biergarten when it fits in with the plans, but only one of them on any trip, thank you.
Ate at Artist's Point once, not in any hurry to go back. I also never eat a table service meal at the Studios anymore (although I want to and will try the Brown Derby in one of my next trips).

Barbarella I agree. Table service at the Studios is a challenge. We like 50's Prime Time but I'd like more choice. BD is too much cash for me based on the menu. Mama Melroses was just okay, H&V just nasty and Sci-Fi good but is a quick service badged as a TS. JMHO of course.

Ok, so the thread is "No desire to try" not "to go back" so the answer to restaurants that I haven't tried and don't care to:
I agree with bennette, any time I read about Coral Reef, I just get this feeling that I don't need to go there.
Liberty Tree Tavern. I'm sorry, it sounds really bland to me.
And finally... San Angel Inn. Maybe it's because I live within 2 hours of the border and have access to all sorts of great Mexican food at home. But if I'm going to go to a table service restaurant, that would be at the bottom of my list if I'm at WDW.

The atmosphere at San Angel Inn is worth going for. Granted, I've had killer Mexican food here in NYC, and in California as well, so, no it's not killer Mexican food, but it's good and it's an awesome room. I always reccommend it to people. It's worth a try.
We have, however, a similar feeling as you, but for anything Italian or Chinese at WDW. New York has the greatest Italian and Chinese food, so we've never even given eating in Italy or China at Epcot a thought. It's just never on our list. Maybe we should give them a try though?
Liberty Tree is pretty bland. We had a blast there once with a particularly kooky Meeko character. He was stealing dinner rolls from my daughter, who was 4 at the time and loving it, and wedging them into his ears. He was such a blast, but lack of characters...I don't really see a reason to go there.

Then try Tokyo Dining. Same menu (well, it's actually more extensive) and sit by yourself! YUMMO!

What Restaurant(s) have you tried with no desire to return too, and why?
I also think there is a difference between not having a desire to try a restaurant vs. been there and not wanting to go back too, so lets run a thread, on been there done that with not wanting to return, which can also include the quick service places.

About the only one for me is the 50's Prime Time Cafe. I understand the schtick, but on my one visit the "cousin" waitress just took things too far. I was tired, I wanted to eat my dinner, and I wanted to sit with my elbows on the table like I usually do. Well, she made me quit it, then made me quit it again, and by about the 5th time she nagged me it just wasn't funny any more. I might go again with a group that wants to get into the spirit of things. But for a single park stormer, I'd much rather enjoy a nice dinner with an attentive waiter, and NOT GET NAGGED!!!

For me was Chef Mickeys and also Crystal Palace Buffits, food quality just wasn't there, Food was just too blah tasting. No desire to return to either until the food quailty improves or comes back to Pre- free Dining level, they used to be really good but something has happened to these buffits.

I found that you can go enjoy the food there. If you're not feeling it that day, just tell the host. We went once and a party with us just wasn't feeling into it. So, I told the host - and she told the waitress - who then gave us very minimal shtick. They don't want to risk ruining the meal for you, either, and assume if you are there, you're partly there for the shtick. I know there have been times where I've enjoyed this and times where I knew I just didn't want to be bothered. A heads up to the staff was appreciated. (I would go there either way because I love the fried chicken there!)

Worst meal ever - Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace. I would rather eat any gum found on the bottom of my shoe than eat there again. Yea... that bad.
I have to say that I gave 50'sPT a couple good shots. First time - was rather good. Second time, it sucked. The food quality was not there and our waiter was paying more attention to the party of 12 than us. We were there for 2 hours because the service was so bad. We ended up getting our dining credits back because the service was so poor. I dont think I would go there again for a long time.
I saw an article at TouringPlans.com the other day that pretty much described how you cant judge an eatery just by one meal. I think that is so true. We may not want to try something because we think we would not like it. Or because you had a single bad experience. However, sometimes, you find surprising eats when you least expect it or if you try something again.

And Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace had SO much promise when it first opened - Actual shrimp pad thai, etc. I want to think it opened under that name right before the dining plan became real popular, and the quality/variety/selection of food took a nosedive when the dining plan really took off.

some imagination, huh?
I have no desire to return to toyko dining. the food was just blah, boaring and overpriced for what we got and the sushi was not that good, we had much better sushi at the Sushi bar at the Poly. I also dont plan on going back to Boma for breakfast (dinner was great) or Tuskerhouse in AK for the character breakfast, the day we went it was crowded, the characters were hurried and the breakfast was not exciting. if we're doing breakfast at WDW, we're doing Kona Cafe. I cant say there is anything we wont ever try, we like to try everyting once but we have found our favorites and tend to go back. I have to say I was not thrilled with the food at 50's, but I'd go back and give it another shot, we had good service and great company. plus DD8 said the mac and cheese was the best.
Oh i guess there are a couple we have no desire to go to, planet hollywood or rainforest cafe.

We took the kids to Rainforest when they were younger - it was fun, overpriced and way loud. But we ticked it off the list and on we moved. Planet Hollywood??? Yeah, we skip that to. Don't get the appeal.

You just don't know what you're missing! I've never found them overly salty. Messy? Yup. But it's a whole lotta meat there - for me one turkey leg makes up a nice light lunch!
