What restaurant(s) do you have no desire to try [or go back to] & why? [Merged]
The Question properly has been asked a thousand times but it needs updating.
Mine Is Le Cellier so called steak house, been there done that with no wish to return,
they offer limited choice of steaks, tough and no flavor, seating is so tight you can eat off someones else plate, dark and noisy, the service and check-in is an experience all in it self. You have to wait, and wait, and wait. Not A fan of Le Cellier,
I would go to the fish place before eating there again.
OH wait, I did, Excellent fish and chips with no wait.

Sadly we had a not so wonderful experience there too, however I would not rule out going back to give it another go.
I would have to say Donald's Breakfastosaurus in AK, though I don't have a real reason not to go. It just never really made me think that it would be any better than any other character breakfast.

I think there is a difference between not having a desire to try vs. been there and not wanting to go back.
And while there are very few places on property that I would not go to again, I think there are just as few that I would not want to give a try. Im just not a big fan of German or French food, so the TS eateries in those Epcot pavilions are probably last on my list. I know there are some good reviews related to them, but its just not my first choice of cuisine. Chances are, I will try them eventually, but not until others are tried first.
But truth be told, the Mrs. wants to try the eateries in France, so I may give that a shot within the next trip or two. After all, we found some of the best places to eat on property by mistake.
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!

I have no desire to ever try Victoria & Albert's. That type of formal dining experience just isn't me. And that's the ONLY restaurant in WDW that I feel that way about. All the rest....bring 'em on!

Another vote from me to skip Le Cellier for now on. It's just overrated I guess. I'd rather spend my steak $$$ at the Yachtsman.
Others I could live without? Tony's at MK, Cape May Buffett at Beach Club - wow that was the worst. Fultons Crab house at DD, mediocre at best.
(Is this thread a good idea? Folks get awfully defensive when others dislike their favorite restaurants!

None. I will "try" any place once. I dont make a decision I dont like a restaurant without trying the food first.

I'm not a fan of buffets in general - so most of those are out*, unless I'm traveling with people who would like to visit with characters. *(Boma's a big exception - though I'd probably do Jiko or Saana again first. Biergarten is another exception, if traveling with a fun group.)
Wasn't a huge fan of the flavors (or rather the lack thereof) at the 'cook at your table' part of the Japanese restaurant, but wouldn't take a huge twist to get me back if someone I was traveling with wanted to go. (We also felt rushed by the others at our table, so that may have colored my 'taste' as well).
There are lots of restaurants that are further down my list than others, because of my experiences, but aside from a generic buffet, I'm pretty open to trying everything.
There are just soooo many restaurants, and so many that have delivered well, the stars really have to align for me to try a 'meh' restaurant again over a well liked one. (Though I still have some on my 'haven't yet tried' list!)

I'm not a fan of buffets either, so those are down my list. While I like watching Top Chef, I think that V&A is too far off of my pseudo-foodie radar to really want to eat there. I wasn't a fan of Jiko either, but I may have hit it on an off night. I don't like Moroccan/middle eastern food, so Marrakesh/Tangeriene is out....These are PREFERENCES, though--not because the restaurant itself was horrible.
Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

If you are really not a fan of French food try Les Chefs during lunch.
1) It's empty (we went during free dining and in August)
2) If you go on a day when Remy is there it's a cute little show and they don't overstay their welcome at your table.
3) You can get the Prix Fixe menu which is awesome (appetizer, entree, and dessert!)
4) If you don't want French food you can get a burger (minus the mayo sauce on it (their way of making it French)) and fries. I had the croque monsieur (ham and cheese) and it was delicious!
Just saying that there is other options for lunch that aren't so "French".

I don't think we will ever return to Cinderella's Royal Table. We had a pretty terrible experience all the way around last time we went and it left a really bad taste in our mouth. So much fuss to get into for such little return to us. We used to love eating there before they charactered it up.
LeCellier - love the food, but for the reasons everyone else has mentioned (dark, crowded, too tight seating) and that it now costs twice as much as before (signature dining), we probably won't be back for awhile.
Not willing to try? Hmm.... can't think of any off the bat.

Take a look at the menu for the Bistro, around back and upstairs from Le Chefs. Regardless of any specific type of cooking, a good cut of beef is a good cut of bouef, and the Bistro does it really really well! http://allears.net/menu/men_bisd.htm
As to places I'm not interested in, about the only one is the one in Japan (Teppan Edo?) where you sit around the grills while they cook. Not that there's anything wrong with the food, but as a single park stormer I'm not wild about being wedged into someone else's family group!

There are several places that aren't even close to the top of my "want to try" list (like any princess meal since I have boys), but I don't think I'd ever refuse to eat somewhere. I'm not a fan of buffets (other than Boma) and generally try to avoid them, but it's hard to do when the kiddos want to dine with the characters. I also don't think you'll catch me at Pizzafari or a turkey leg cart anytime in the near future.

I have no desire to try the Japanese or Chinese restaurants in Epcot. Not that I don't like that type of cuisine, but we live in an area heavily populated by Asians and have many, many excellent Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, etc. restaurants to choose from at home. I can't imagine the Epcot restaurants would be as good. That said, I wouldn't refuse to go to them if someone in my group wanted to--most likely my 5-year-old, who LOVES sushi.
And, sorry Dan, but I won't be gnawing on a turkey leg in the near future, either. Maybe because I was a vegetarian for so long.

I'm not hating on it, Dan. Turkey is far from my favorite meat and those legs just look so barbaric. It's just nothing that I ever crave. I see people devouring them like it's their last meal, so I'm sure that they aren't that awful.

I was just joshing ya, fairest. And mxrapu, for the best sushi just about anywhere, try a meal up at the California Grill. They have one of the top sushi artists in the world working there, and it really shows. Just last week I had the incredible spicy Kazan roll, and it was heaven!

Yes, based on comments you've made previously in other threads, I am going to surprise my husband (another sushi lover) with a dinner at California Grill on our next trip. But I think it will be a much more romantic and enjoyable meal sans the 5-year-old! She'll just have to wait until she's older.

I'd probably agree with Pizzafari for lunch or dinner, but they actually have a really good breakfast platter (scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns) for breakfast. We were really happy to discover it when we were looking for protein for breakfast.
Now different is nice, but it sure isn't pretty, pretty is what it's about
I never met anyone who was different who couldn't figure that out
But beautiful, I'd never live to see
But it was clear, if not to her, well, then to me.

Oh, thanks for that. I think we'ver always eaten breakfast at the resort pre-AK, but that may change this year! I actually like the salads at Pizzafari. (Plus I like the decor in the different rooms - animals that hide; animals that carry their homes with them, etc) I'm thinking they had a sandwich that wasn't too bad, but it IS WDW pizza.

I like this question.
Easily for me the one restaurant I never have to go back to is the Rain Forrest caf in Downtown Disney. Its a chain restaurant with the typical tastes that you can get at many other chain restaurants. And the one in downtown Disney costs more than their others. If I want chain food I can visit elsewhere and for less money. A close second could be Yak and Yeti Restaurant which I believe is run by the same chain/company as the Rain Forrest Caf.
As for counter service the ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios never again! Too slow, too crowded, lackluster menu and cold food.

I have never had any desire to eat at the Coral Reef. The reviews are sporadic to begin with and it lost any potential magic for me the day I saw a diver scrubbing the a "starfish" clean with a brush. I can see it would be fun for kids or for folks who possibly don't have regular access to a nice aquarium with "real" plants and starfish so I don't expect it to become unpopular anytime soon.
That's okay. There are plenty of other places I've yet to try.
So I'm reading my bean feed...

Good to know. We don't normally eat breakfast in the parks unless it's a character breakfast.
