Finally the answer to the submarine quest. I did 2 things wrong. As usual, I made it harder than it was. First I was trying to make the names of the submarines fit so that the nautical flag symbol was unique to a letter. I thought there must be one combination of the names that would work, and it was just logical elimintion to get there. But now I see that I was on the wrong track from the get go. From the recap solution I see that the A's had 4 different nautical flags. They were not unique. Second, for awhile I thought we had to use the old names of the subs. In the clue it said PAST mysteries of the ocean and ANCIENT code, I thought you were trying to clue me in that I needed the old sub names. But I couldn't find the names in the park so I knew that must be wrong. I really wanted those 50 points darn it!
I'm pretty happy with our result! 3rd place in the new teams, 27th overall in Basic.
The Squirrel Squad is very happy with our 5th place finish in Basic. I am bummed though because we would have taken third if we had just remembered there was a camera shop in ToonTown...

I'm still bitter about Club 55. I realize this was actually probably done ON PURPOSE, but this keeps reminding me of a quest from Reindeer Games. The haunted mansion quest eventually asked you how many people were in the portraits in the stretching room in September. Yes, there were things being sold that showed you that answer, but I and many other people just knew the answer... outside knowledge.
Maybe I should be mad at Disney for making a BIG DEAL of Club 55 during the 50th anniversary and now putting it on a window as a golf school. Ok, I'll redirect my frustration
I just needed to whine. Overall a really awesome game and I should stop complaining about getting 5th among the new teams!

Our team number 130 and another team number 172 did not receive their results in the Mouseadventure recap for the Basic Division. Team 130 played non competitively and Team 172 played competitively. Please let us know what happened.
Thank you.
Any chance that we can get the answers to the EyeSpys? I don't live in the area or I would go back and try to find the ones I didn't locate. Instead I'm hoping to read the answers and smack my forehead and wonder how I missed them! Thanks.

In going over my points, it appears that we were given credit for our purple answer. Is this correct? It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, I'm just trying to figure out what our score would have been if we had turned it in at the competitive play deadline."The Last Night of a Jockey" - 30 points
Round and round they go, when they stop hurry up and count! King Arthur Carrousel was the centerpiece for this quest, requiring teams to collect data around Fantasyland. The numbers collected were then used to count in, out, back and forth from Jingles on the carrousel in order to find a certain horse and identify the color of its saddle. Teams that laid out a grid, or did the math operation first then counted were able to locate the correct horse. Some teams were tripped up by the number of keys on the crest that adorns the back of the castle. The crest appears twice, but the question only identified a singular crest.
Answer: Green
Common incorrect answer: Purple

Aces & Eights are supremely happy with our first Advanced MA under our belts! =D We think it's utterly ironic that our team number was 26 and we placed 26! lols must have been a sign. now that we know what to expect (well, as much as we can because it IS MouseAdventures, after all), we absolutely cannot wait for the next event.
Any chance we can get the answers for the Eye-Spys?? We did better on those this time around than in previous MAs, but we're always curious about the ones we didn't find during the event.
Not that it really matters for us since we can't compete, but...
I am looking at our color wheel for the WOC quest and I can't see how chartreuse could be anything but green + yellow. Orange, green and yellow are ochre on the wheel. Just curious since green + yellow was our answer.
Also, if my memory is correct wasn't the Buerghers bottle floral lilac (not blue) toilet water? Or was there more than one?
Totally off topic, but the cub (almost 2) is now "helping" with all the MA quests by drawing on them... I really should take a picture...
We had Floral Lilac Toilet Water for that one too.... was that a typo on the quest recap? (Hopefully?)
So for Eyespies, I figure I'll put what we found and other people can add (or disagree) with what I've got.

One note on Eye-Spies: It REALLY REALLY helps to read the ALL of the directions.
We did actually, during grading, pull out the packets to triple check the eye-spy directions because we were finding so many inconsistencies between answer sheets: The directions said to use the map to write down the attraction number from the map. So the correct answers for the Eye-spies were actually numbers, not names. (They'll obviously correspond to the names of the attractions so of course you'll be using the names in the discussion here, but I thought I'd mention it.)

How do you like your kindle?
Uh, it's an iPad.
There were a couple eye spies that we completely guessed on and now I know that we got them completely wrong. We must have gotten four of them wrong (all four RR Stations) because I know we got guessed on at least 3, but figuring out the points we missed, it has to be an even number to leave an even number of points for the trivia questions we missed. That means we only missed 7 trivia questions. I had nothing to do with those by the way.
I really liked these eye spies! It was a lot less stressful knowing that we were looking for wait time signs and nothing else. We still didn't get them all, but we did better than we normally do on them, I think.
Just wanted to say that we had a great time at this MA. This was our 4th MA, and our first advanced, and while it was easily our poorest performance points-wise, we came SO close on so many puzzles, and that makes us feel pretty good about going in next time. We also had a ton of fun during it, which is why we do this to begin with... there's nothing like staring at thresholds while people stare at you like you're nuts, stretching your brain to remember where that darned sign is located that you remember seeing months ago!, getting all giddy at finding a word on a window, facepalming on a consistent basis throughout the day, and sighing to each other that just FIVE MORE MINUTES would make the difference... all with Mickey in the background. Love it, and we're already eagerly awaiting the next one.
We not only gave away all of our cards, but we had a sign on the back of one our binders that had the Mouse Adventure website link --> so when we ran out of cards, we'd just hold that up when someone asked what we were doing. This is good for more players, but now we're afraid of faster sell-outs!
Anyway, last but not least, thank you to the staff -- I can't imagine the amount of time this takes each go, but we appreciate the work that you all put in!
I just went through all the pictures...great stuff...
but everybody looks so serious and busy...except us, we are yucking it up having lunch at the French Market...
