Thanks for any insight!

Team Echo Lake Renters Association here. The four of us are new to MA and planning to fail gracefully in the Advanced Division. Hoping for the majority of the quests, Eye Spys, Hidden Quest, and Park Trivia to center on and involve many rides on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train.

Don't count on failing before you play. Advanced is not that much tougher (depending on just how evil the writers are feeling at the time), just a lot longer. Take it one step at a time and you'll be just fine. Let me know if you want any tips to make your life easier.

my experience has been that they will credit you whatever you paid for the ticket. So whatever the price you pay for the discounted ticket will be your credit to an AP. You may want to call just to verify. you do have to upgrade before you leave the park though.

Awesome, we'd love any and all tips! Private Message, or? I'm not sure what the etiquette is here.

That's exactly how I expect it to work too. I did some research after I asked on here and basically came across the answer "as long as it doesn't say "no upgrading", you can get back what you paid for the ticket". I know we have to upgrade before leaving the park
Thanks for the reminder though!
So, looks like I'm getting a discount ticket, and then trying to spend the day convincing my friend to get a pass with me! "Ohhhh, Haunted Mansion. That ride is awesome. Too bad there is no quest about it"

Tips here! Or maybe even in a new thread. You'll get lots of input from other teams and it generally makes for a great discussion!

I sent in the T-Shirt Designs for my team (Squirrel Squad, Team #17) and never received a confirmation email. Can anyone verify that it made it?

APPARENTLY, I've become a MouseAdventure Pusher.
Originally from Team Clueless (Mystery) and Frozen Tangerines (Luau), I'm bringing in 3 newbies (and fellow Rockapella fans) to MA for The Zone, as Team Prince Charming and the CinderPellas.

I'm still a crust! AUGH!

One of our pre-Mouseadventure routines is getting Jamba Juice before heading over to the sign-in. It helps with hydration.
Despite my fear of having to wait in a longer line, they are currently running a promotion here.

The Acceptables are checking in after a bit of a hiatus... Dan and I flew solo last fall since Kim and I were both preggo then we didn't compete in Luau because we were all taking care of our baby boys who were both born in December. They're now 9 months old, so they don't need us anymore and we can compete in MA again!
anyway, we can only do 1 day, so it's Basic for us this time, but we're excited to have our whole team together (Jennifer & Dan and Kim & Matt). See y'all next weekend!!
The Acceptables - MA Decades Advanced - Spring 2010 - 14th Place
The Acceptables - MA Trains, Trams and Monorails! Advanced - Spring 2009 - 16th Place
The Acceptables - MA Mystery! Basic - Fall 2008 - 1st Place
The Acceptables - MA Basic - Fall 2007 - 3rd Place (tie)
The Acceptables - MA Basic - Spring 2007 - 3rd Place

I had a question to the staff. Our team has had some confusion over Minnie's house in toontown in the past games. One year we waited for minnie to leave from taking pictures, but then one year the cast member said no the line would be there the whole day we needed to enter through the back of the house. What exactly is Mouseadventure's rule on this due to the fact we can't enter exits of attractions?? Thanks!
Wonders in Wonderland; 8th place Spring Advanced 2010
Disney Dears; 2nd place winners in the Returning Teams for Reindeer Games Winter 09!
Teamatouille; 2nd place Fall 2007; 8th place Spring 2009 Basic; 10th place Fall 2008 Basic; 8th place Spring 2008 Basic

If you need to enter an attraction and a cast member directs you to the exit, go in the exit. There are no penalties for that.
The "don't go in the exit" rule is intended to keep teams from bypassing lines or getting data from exit queues without going through the main queue and riding the attraction. In this case the exit is really the "alternate entrance" so it's okay.

I have a quick question (hopefully) about the schedule for the advanced division. In the latest newsletter (#2), the Sunday time says that at 9:00am, check in begins at the Disneyland Resort. In the first newletter, it says Sunday 9:00am check in is at the Disneyland Resort Picnic Area. So, the check in for Sunday morning is at the Disneyland Resort Picnic Area, right?
Thanks!
- Spring MouseAdventures: Decades advanced: our goal? to finish. mission accomplished!
- december 09 reindeer games: 26th place, & drenched all the way through!
- spring 09 mouse adventure (train, trams, and monorails): advanced division, with a newbie! the dominoes and the jigsaw puzzle nearly killed us!
- fall 08 mouse adventures: third place in the 101 division!

Nope, it's at the Disneyland Resort. You may find out where on Saturday.
