Along with our new team name, we will also have a new shirt to enter in the T-shirt competition. The design is still in the works.

Team "Club 34" will be back again - in Basic like always! So excited that my 17 YO daughter agreed to participate again - she really made a huge impact in the Spring event! We're never foolish enough to think we could win, though.

I convinced a NEW person to join me in the Advanced Division. Our team name: It's going to be Disney Legend ... wait for it... ary! Is it bad that I keep on recruiting friends to join me in the advanced divisions? I hope I don't scare them away from future advanced games. How could I resist a two day MA?

This is random but...how do you guys decide when the fall MA is gonna be? So far I've participated in one Halloween one and one Christmas one. Would it be possible to guess when the next fall one would be?

(I'm asking because I've turned a friend on to MA recently but she really wants to do a Halloween one.)

We start with a calendar. Then we cross off all the weekends where another major Disney-area event will conflict. (Holidays, etc.) Then we talk to the staff, and cross off those weekends that a majority of key staff just can't make. Then we take the remaining dates, and talk to our coordinator at Disney, who checks availability of the ballroom we use at the Paradise Pier Hotel. Of the dates we submit to Disney, usually only one or two work with their schedule. And that's the date we wind up with.

We won't have a clue about Fall 2012 until sometime next spring - Disney usually only works 6-9 months out.

I don't think it's actually been posted anywhere yet. The t-shirt submission deadline is 9:00 p.m. Pacific time, Thursday, September 15. Send your shirt designs in any common image file format (jpg, png, etc) - please do not send document files (doc, pdf, etc). Send them to teamshirts@mouseadventure.com. You'll get an auto-response saying we received your submission.

Shortly after the deadline we'll have a poll here in the MouseAdventure forum for the "fan favorite" design. The winner of that poll will receive a special prize at the awards gathering on Sunday evening, as will the staff favorite.

Skippers in De Nile (formerly Practically Perfect) will be competing once again in the Family Basic Division! We won the Family Division in the spring MouseAdventure Luau (our fourth competition), but we definitely won't be resting on our laurels knowing that some advanced teams are joining our ranks!

1) What day will the team photos be taken? We want to wear our new shirts on team picture day!

2) The newsletter had the normal standard MA warning about "no electronic devices", but I'm guessing that doesn't apply to the smartphones we need to bring on Saturday? (Unless that has changed...)

Correct- teams in the Advanced division should bring your device(s) of choice on Saturday, and leave them in the room on Sunday.
