Cast of characters: Me!
First day I arrived in Anaheim and checked into my hotel. I love Orange County Airport. I stopped for lunch on the way to baggage and got something to go. Came out and my luggage was practically waiting for me. Stayed in motel swam and kept falling asleep while watching TV.
Second day I got up early and inadvertently used my Early Morning which is okay because this is the only day I got up before 9. I stood in line for 75 minutes for Star Tours went and had a blast. I got off and picked up a fast pass for that evening. I went on every single Tomorrowland Ride before heading to Fantasyland. I went on a lot of those rides and swung over to Adventureland/New Orleans Square where I went on Jungle Cruise (don't even ask me how many time I went on Jungle Cruise!), Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribean. I started to feel sick after riding Pirates so I soon went back to the hotel
Third day: My Welcome to Walt Disney Tour. That is so fun! I got all kinds of pictures and enjoyed the information about the Tiki Room. I even got a picture of me standing in the elevator to Club 33. Lots of fun and I highly recommend this tour. The rest of the day is spent going on almost all of the other rides I missed the previous day at Disneyland. I then watched the fireworks and Fantasmic that night.
Fourth day: I'm off to California Adventure. First stop is Fast Pass for World of Color. I then went on Grizzley Run and got soaked. I went over to Soarin Over California and ask for a Single Rider ticket and am told it's much better to get a fast pass. I walk around a bit and head to my favorite part of California Adventure. Hollywood Pictures Backlot. I now find out there was more there then what I went to. I went on Tower of Terror and then immediately went back on. I should note I went on it so many times the next three days I have no idea how many times I went. I went back to Sourin. I then went back to Hollywood Pictures Backlot and learned how to draw Mickey Mouse and Goofy. I headed over to Paradise Pier and went on Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and played carnival games. I had to pick something up at the hotel so I went back to the Hilton for a couple hours before going to see World of Color. I ended the night on, you guessed it, the Tower of Terror
Day 5: Pretty much spent the day going back and fourth between the two parks. I got my picture taken with Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Mary Poppins. My fast pass for Star Tours was odd. My line never moved so they moved us over and then the line I was in moved. My favorite Star Tours show (I never saw the same one twice!) was the one on Kashyyyk (Wookie Planet for the non Star Wars nerds). More Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. I wandered around Downtown Disney and got Mouse Ears (I always wanted those!) and had mexican food. That night I watched the 4th of July Fireworks.
Day 6: Same as Day 5 except now I get a full work out. First by walking around Tarzan's Tree House and then an unexpected journey on Splash Mountain. When I got to Splash Mountain it was down so I went on Winnie Pooh. It's still down so I decide to go on Haunted Mansion. I notice the line for Splash Mountain is moving again so I decide to hurry back to the single rider line. I'm seated pretty quickly even with 5 people in front of me. As we are going around there's a message saying that there is a problem with the ride. We stop behind the other boats right before Slippin Falls and are told to stay seated until someone comes to get us. I took some great pictures from the top of Splash Mountain though. I decided to head to Downtown Disney for dinner again and find that the Soundsational Parade and plop down on the sidewalk to wait for 45 minutes. I learned to bring a book a few days ago. I then wandered around Downtown Disney and finished my final night on Grizzley Run and I bet you'll never guess which ride at California Adventure I went on...
Day 7: Left for LAX at 8:30 AM. Home at 1:30
I had a blast. I have tons of pictures and memories to make me smile. I can't wait to go again.
