Just curious -- how'd you hear about MouseAdventure? No matter how you heard, I'm so glad you're coming to play!

We're in! This year we're going by Disney Detective Agency.
Lisa & Darrell G

Glenn and Sharon (aka Two and the Ragged Tower) checking in for MA:HS. We'll be running around Hollywood Studios on our 11th anniversary! If you has asked me 11 years ago where I thought I be 11 years from then, I don't think I would have said HS, but we couldn't be more excited!
-
I have no idea whether I can get leave for this, so we might be flying down Friday and back up Sunday, but Heffalump and Woozle will be there! Can't pass up a chance for coast to coast honors.

We were in Animal Kingdom last year when the last mouse adventure was going on, and we asked one of the teams what they were doing. They told us about mouse adventure and the mouseplanet website, and we were really interested. When we got home, we looked up the website to see when the next event was. We are super excited to participate! We really like going to Disney World. We are annual pass holders, and this event seems like a lot of fun!

Oh, that's so cool! OMG! I just saw your location! I've been living in the NOLA area for the last 8 years! Here's to no evacuations this year!
I'm glad that everyone competing last time was a good ambassador for the event.

Okay, I know it's REEEALY early for this, but has it been said anywhere what time turn in is going to be for this event? We like to make an ADR for just after turn in, and it's getting to be hard to get them when you want them. Thanks!

As far as I know, nothing has been set yet. Last year, turn-in was at 5:00, which was also park closing for DAK. We'll have to wait for the logistics part to fall into place. However, it's likely that the results meet will again be around 10:00, which will give you plenty of time to eat, regardless. However, nothing will be official until it is posted by AVP or Joe, so you'll have to wait for that to be 100% certain. You can always book a reservation for 5:30, 6:00, or 6:30, then change it depending on what the turn-in time turns out to be.

The Lost Falls Expedition is definitely going coast to coast!
Looking forward to another challenging day in an unfamiliar park; will definitely need to scout out the post game adult beverage destination post game.

The Disney Blog verified that they WILL be doing the 3D Disney Dessert Discovery on Friday night the 11th. Last year it was a fairly reasonable price (under 50) and included reserved viewing for Illuminations. There were some alcoholic drinks as well as iced tea and water, and a whole bunch of yummy dessert stations. We plan on doing it again this year, since it's a nice ending to the evening, and still gets us 'home' at a reasonable hour (we were able to book it to the buses and really beat the Illuminations crowd).
Something you (both crew and cast!) might want to consider - reservations don't open until August 16th, though.

So much food, so little time...
I'm looking forward to another fun event! Help us get the word out, and recruit your friends!
-
Get Out! just registered - second time in Florida and about our fifth overall - don't think we will qualify for coast to coast this year as there are only two of us out of the four doing Disney World! BUT cant wait and very excited again!!!
-
YenSid's Apprentices are ready for their closeup! See you in November (and probably September, but that'll be another thread).

Hey everyone--I noticed on the WDW Update that Osborne Lights starts November 10th--so after MouseAdventure would be a good time to go and see it!
If I go down, I'm going down fat and full.

You don't think you'll be sick of looking at the Osborne lights after having to count every fifth bulb and spell a word from the result?

I won't be because I'm not playing (my friends will have a team). I'm just going for Food and Wine!

If we self-recruit, do we still get a cupcake <grin>? Seriously, we have one player still trying to find out if she's going to be able to go or not and then we hope to register. (Keeping a daily eye on airfare)

So, my sisters and I are signing up for the 3D Dessert Event on Friday evening (Nov 11) in Epcot. Anyone else planning on trying to get that one when booking opens tomorrow.
Last year when we did it, it kept us out 'late, but not too late' (though it is a half-hour later this year) and included reserved area for Illuminations seating with special Mickey glasses. Our area was between the World Showcase entrance stores, so we were able to book out of there right as illuminations ended and beat the crowds to the buses. I did read that some weeks they had a different area, which wouldn't have been as great for making a rapid escape.

I convinced the friend to go! Well, I convinced him a while ago, but only got around to posting now.
It'll be his first time to WDW, so this should be interesting! And I haven't been in years. It'll be interesting to see WDW's Food and Wine festival. Our team name: Team Legen ... wait for it... dary! I can't wait!
- Spring MouseAdventures: Decades advanced: our goal? to finish. mission accomplished!
- december 09 reindeer games: 26th place, & drenched all the way through!
- spring 09 mouse adventure (train, trams, and monorails): advanced division, with a newbie! the dominoes and the jigsaw puzzle nearly killed us!
- fall 08 mouse adventures: third place in the 101 division!

We booked it today. I was having trouble booking it last week, but tonight I had no issues, so we'll see you there!
