That's what I thought too Cathy but I didn't want to deflate Scoob's accomplishment! ;-)

Plus I do think they'll work better with a full family in a room.

After a lack luster packing job and multiple missing items last trip, today I have deemed my self as the newly appointed Packing Manager. I don't pack, just oversee and manage the process. I wonder what my DW will think of this when I tell her.

Thanks to a collective effort by DisneyFunFamily4, Hannahbelle and myself, ADRs for our massively exciting Christmas trip have been made. We got everything we want, except for Be Our Guest since they aren't taking ressies yet.

On Monday I re-arranged our flights. I had booked through Disney Travel, then the airline changed the time of both flights (arrival & departure). We'd have lost a half day of valuable time on both ends of the trip. So I booked myself (different airline), then cancelled the first set of flights.

Only one "problem" .... New set of flights has us leaving home one day earlier (but returning home same time). Oops! When I realized, I called Disney and added one day to the front of our trip.

I had to do some rearranging as well, when I saw that my one night in the MK in September was a MNSSHP night (which I didn't want to go to). Shuffled some things around so that I could do the MK and see Spectro and Wishes on a non-MNSSHP night. Had to change up a couple of dining reservations, but it all worked out very nicely.

I did read somewhere that they were planning to bring Spectro back. I think it was in one of Mark's WDW updates in the last couple of weeks. No dates were given, though. I guess MSEP is going to "glow away forever" again.

ETA: Ok, it was in the last couple of days in this week's update here. It's the second item in the quick takes section.

I'd love to see that. I really liked the MSEP back in the day, but I've never warmed up to this new version. It seems to me that SpectroMagic just belongs in the MK!

LMAO!! Yeah she is speaking to me. When I remind her that I am the new Chief Packing Manager, she just looks ta me and says shut up with a smile.

Well today we planned out the four dinner meals we will be cooking in the Villa and lunches. DW is out shopping for what we need as I type this. It will be checked thouroughly when I get home.

Thanks Cathy! And yes, I am the luckiest man on the planet because A) She does love me, B) She puts up with me and C) She doesn't take me seriously.

Final lots of sun cream purchased. It all weighs a tonne but I didn't want to risk getting something that would irritate the children's skin by buying locally. I know this would have been much cheaper but they both get rashy pretty easily.

DW starting the Laundry of Clothes that will be going with us. I don't have any Mickey shirts to wear until Friday. Good excuse to buy more when we are down there. Also, checked out the in room dining for the VWL and they have a Brisket Eggs Benedict on the menu. Let's just say, I know what I am having for Breakfast on our Park off day!

Crazy day! As supervising packing manager, checked multiple things off the list. Going to be nuts tomorrow! Especially, after we came home to a hole in the carpet all the way to the floor board. Thanks to the pups! And that's why they will be at The Pet Palace/Man's Best Fried for the trip!

We received our tickets in the mail, so one more thing down. Next up is to decide if we want to do a rummage sale next weekend.

I don't know and I don't care if It's a Small World. It's a nice day when you wake up in Disneyland.

I'm packed in record time. I am currently managing the rest of the process. But we are ready to go and wish we could leave today!
