Yes that would of been nice for sure.

I need to research OKW, I have no familiarity with that place whatsoever.

I started putting clothes in a suitcase!

    Also I updated "the chart".

    You've read my mind Dan!

Last night when I cancelled San Angel Dinner and Les Chefs dinner. I did a check to see what was open for 2 people. Keep in mind I leave in 19 days. Guess what came up at a 5:00?

Ohana! I couldn't believe it! I actually didn't take it though because I want to save for when I go with my nephew and sister so I just moved Les Chefs to lunch since I am now paying out of pocket.

Lots of ressies still open and it is spring break!

I booked the Tusker House Breakfast and got an 8:25am time. That blew my mind. We have a 9:25 Crystal Palace breakfast too. Both are really decent considering that we're so close to our arrival at WDW. This is a surprise trip for my DS (9) for Star Wars weekend. I wasn't planning on ADR's until my husband gave me sad puppy eyes when I mentioned that we wouldn't be doing our traditional Liberty Tree Tavern dinner and Crystal Palace breakfast. Out of pocket, it would be about $80 just for Liberty Tree. So I figured why not make a go of it and just upgrade to the basic meal plan and get some ADR's. After some tallying, I came to the conclusion that we'd get the equivalent of a "free" ADR meal with the upgrade. So now we're booked for Tusker House and Via Napoli, too. I'm thrilled that I was able to get decent times for it all. We have no ADR's for the days we'll be in HS. I didn't want to miss anything there since that's the point of our trip!

Found the perfect satchel type bag for the flight. Very pretty with pockets ideal for passports, hotel and car paperwork, flight tickets, i pad, and space for a drink and snacks and purse etc. I have been looking for this bag for a decade. I am very happy!

I got my hair done yesterday. whoo hooo. I also got DH a new shirt to wear to Ca Grille. The drinks, snacks and easter stuff is ready to go. Now to transfer the packing piles to suitcases. oh and i need to clean out the car. I was going to go to the car wash this weekend but it's been raining so i guess she just gets a quick clean out and vacuum at home. Sorry if the car is messy HB, just dont sit where DD8 sits and you should be fine... well, maybe, she does have a tendency to spread her messiness. LOL!

    LOL ok!

Im pretty much packed except for some jewelry and my toiletries. Unfortunately with packing some snacks and stuff for the studio kitchenette (coffee and creamer and extra filters) my suitcase is completely full already!! I'm thinking that I will need to take EVERYTHING out and re evaluate what Im taking.
My carry-on has some room but I still need to re do everything, I dont even want to know what it weighs! LOL!
I thought without all the heavy jeans and sweatshirts I would be ok......we will see!

So besides pre packing, I did the third and final on line check in this morning. All the confirmations are checked and rechecked in "the chart". ;-)

How many heavy jeans and sweatshirts are you bringing? I would MAYBE pack a second of each for an April trip (in addition to what I wear on the plane) - but this year, probably not.

This made me think...this is my first April trip in a very long time and I am packing only short, tees and tanks. Should I pack a sweatshirt as well? I guess I could pack a sweater or sweatshirt that goes with most of my outfits. I think my mind is still trained for August

As for the accomplishments, I got my Magical Express tickets in today so I'm all set with that. I need to decide if I am going to DME my bag or just get it myself. Since it is only 4 nights I don't have a ton of stuff and I want to go swimming as I wait for the room to be ready.

I also ordered 2 pairs of shorts from the GAP since it was free shipping and 25% off and since the shorts from LOFT didn't fit right.

I virtually always carry a sweater or sweatshirt on the plane, since sometimes they're cold and sometimes not so much. It's just nice to have the option to put it on in the plane, or even just use it like a blanket over my shoulders.

And for only 4 nights, I'd probably do a carry-on only - but I travel a bit for work off and on, so I've figured out how to do toiletries to meet the TSA carry-on requirements. The only really big issue I have with carry on toiletries is sunscreen - but I'm usually meeting my sister who checks her bag, so that's one of the things she's in charge of. If you're flying an airline with a checked bag fee, it's probably cheaper to just buy the sunscreen at the resort.

I just did a trip at the end of February, and was in shorts and tshirt/golf shirt all week. Just before you leave, look on weather.com and see what the temps are gonna be like. I'm betting you won't need those heavy pants or sweatshirts at all!

We were just down for Christmas and we were in shorts and tee's all but one day I think. DH said to pack a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt for next week just in case because if we dont we'll need them. I think he just doesn't want me to have an excuse to buy new ones! LOL!

My accomplishment..... I've caught up on all my charting at work! whoo hooo! now to keep the phone from ringing.

    Way to go Scooby!

Hannnahbelle- loose the jeans and sweatshirts it's been warm forever here! In the high 80's but humid. 80's here is not like CA 80's. (Oh how I wish!) Maybe take a sweatshirt on the plane and wear a pair of jeans on the flight that you could wash if needed again but I doubt you will need the jeans at all. My children have the option of wearing jeans to school on Friday's instead of their uniforms and have opted to willing wear the lightweight uniform slacks because it's been warm and humid for weeks. Anytime teens are willing to wear a school uniform over jeans you know it's hot because they hate these things. We're living in shorts, tees and flip flops.

One of the problems with my last trip a few weeks ago was that I think I finally hit critical mass (pun intended), where I was just too heavy for my feet and legs to comfortably carry me around. I've been trying to lose since then, and am on track to be 10 pounds lighter for my next trip in 3 weeks. We'll see if it makes a difference.

Noooooo I said WITHOUT all the jeans and sweatshirts (like what I packed in December) I thought I would have plenty of room in the suitcase. LOL!! Im only bringing one sweatshirt and maybe wearing jeans on the flight. I re packed all my stuff last night and got all the snacks and food into my carry on. I think we are looking good. I still have plenty of room on the top of my suitcase for my toiletries.

DFF4 started our trip report! yay!

    Oops, sorry I misunderstood HB!

WHY would you think you needed to bring heavier stuff in APRIL than you did in DECEMBER?

And DFF4 - do you really want to A-spend time offsite buying jeans or B-settling for whatever they might have for warmth in the parks? I think neither. Gotta vote with your DH here and say throw a pair of jeans in the car. (HB will be wearing hers!) And I HAVE been known to purposefully underpack on a sweatshirt if I'm 'due' to get a new one.
