I've done that too before - planned on having X dollars saved up for flight, hotel and car, and then remembering that I'd already paid for the flight a few months back. It's a nice surprise!!!

You have NO idea . I have it in an "emergency" envelope, but there's part of me thinking I should start the NEXT Disney trip savings, knowing my flight is paid for.....hmmmm....I guess I will unless a true emergency arises.

Researching Universal Studios. My MIL and I were discussing taking a day and heading to WWOHP in September!

Got our shirts ordered to use as a base for our MouseAdventure team in November!
Yes, I'm way ahead of the curve - but they had our wide ranges of sizes in stock, and on decent sale. (2 for 12 or something like that!)

Tweaked our AR's. Our first night, a Sunday, we plan to hit the MK after we check in at the hotel, mid-afternoon. I had made an AR for Tony's Town Square, but decided to cancel it. My children are WDW vets, but we are taking a friend, a first-timer. I think the kids will be so excited to show her everything, they won't be in the mood to break their stride and sit down for a longish meal. Also Italian food seems a little heavy on such a hot night, and there are a lot better Italian places on-property. I figure we'll just do a counter service meal. I had one AR for every day, except our last full day. I decided that we will want to spend some time that night, packing up the villa-won't take a lot of time, but I don't want to leave it to the morning; I'd rather we just check our luggage and go, back to the MK for a few hours, before we head to the airport, late in the afternoon. I decided we could do dinner at DD-a quick boat ride from SS. I made a dinner reservation at Raglan Road; have never eaten there before, the menu looks appealing, DH and I can have a beer, and the kids can do some shopping, if they want.

I had such a busy weekend that I couldnt post this sooner: WE BOOKED OUR FLIGHTS!!

We had some good good news on top of it.....DH had a miles account that he forgot about and they merged the two accounts. So after paying some transfer fees and such, we got three round trip tickets in December for ALOT less than we expected to have to pay so now we are ahead of the game a bit on our other categories!! Whoo hoo!!

Just made reservations for the Epcot Segway tour for my sisters and I! Debated about doing the Wilderness Campground one instead, but decided to do the that lets us cruise around a closed portion of the park instead!

We had good family friends that just did the Segway tour 2 weeks ago. They loved it! My sister really wants to do it, so if the studio does well this summer I will treat her to the tour for helping me out.

I was able to get into Primetime for August. I am guessing someone cancelled their ADR because I couldn't get anything after 3PM 2 months ago. I am not thrilled because I only enjoy their chicken pot pie and they don't have that dish at dinner, but my sister has lost 50 pounds since January it is her favorite place to eat.

One of my sisters and I have done the Epcot Segway tour together, as well as one in the Bahamas (on the Disney Cruise) and in DL with our Mom - but the other two haven't done one ever, and one specifically requested the tour. The Disney Visa gave us a 20% discount, too - which is pretty good!

And today - signed up for MA WE III (MouseAdventure World Explorers III)!!!

Now I just have to wait until they get the F&W Fest special events info out to finish up the planning!

And WTG to your sister, Kristin!

Drafted Medical Power of Attorney for my daughter's friend's mother to sign, so that we have her authorization to seek medical treatment for her, in case of a non-life threatening situation, and have her insurance information.

The last time I booked a holiday weekend, on relatively short notice, wanting to use DVC points, we ended up with two one-night stays at DVC villas and a couple of nights at Pop. Only having to switch hotels once isn't bad at all, less than a month out.

And Disney makes moving hotels such a breeze. It is so nice to have them pick up your bags and not have to worry about packing up the car etc. I am really excited about our stay at the VWL, and the POFQ for that matter, I've heard such great things about it!

My hubby thinks I am mad because we have 816 days to go before our silver wedding anniversary trip to WDW and today I bought another travel adapter, a scale to weigh luggage and new suitcase padlocks. You need to get organised right?

Checked us in online. I wasn't able to make a room request, one week out. I'll try again, or call DVC member services before we leave.

Bought my first pair of Reef flip flops. Now to break them in for our trip. Also tried on some other shoes. Still need to decide on which ones I want.

Shoes are just so incredibly important. More than one WDW trip has been ruined by shoes that didn't fit perfectly. Now if I need to buy new shoes before a vacation, I make sure to buy them at least 4 to 6 weeks out, to make sure that they'll really be comfortable by the time I get there. It's just amazing how much of a negative influence hurting feet can be on your vacation!

Too true; I have really bad feet and have to buy pricey shoes, mostly so that when I go to Disney, my feet don't feel like bloody pulps at the end of the day. Even better, I found a place to get older versions (but still new) of my New Balance shoes for about 50% less! Score!
    1999 - Coronado Springs (1 night); 2003 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2005 - All Star Music (7 nights); 2007 - POP Century (10 nights); 2008 - DL's Paradise Pier (5 nights); 2009 - POP Century (10 nights); 2010 - Dolphin (2 nights); 2011 - POP Century (7 nights); June 8-18, 2012 - POFQ (10 nights); next trip,June 18-22, 2013 - POFQ (5 nights). If I'm not at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, I'm not really happy.

Mind sharing the website? My parents only wear New Balance sneakers. I think they are still wearing the same style of sneaker since I was 10!
