Hi - I think we got 5 10 by 8 photos and the 'complimentary' one you get when you walk into the park, an album to place them all in, plus the video, plus a poster size photo (that's pretty cool, wear make-up and keep your face out of the water BEFORE they photograph you ), plus 4 key rings with a photo of your choice. This is what happens. You get to visit a booth during the day where you are shown a gallary on a PC of all the photos they took of you. Too many to choose from, but if you are a party of four you can choose enough with the full package to get an individual one each and a group one too. If you don't want to drop a lot of cash be in a strong frame of mind before you go view. I was very weak. I blame the children............ You pay there and then and can pick the package up at the end of the day. This is a very efficient affair but takes a little while as they make you check the video and photos to make sure that you are happy and got your own family!

I'm not sure if they take pictures in the bird part. No-one took any of us in there and we did not take our camera in there so we actually missed some fabulous photo opportunities here. I advise you take your camera in with you. We actually swam to it, thus no camera, but you can reach it by walking too.

    Hi Scooby!!!
I just printed your entire trip report and can't wait to read it. We are planning a Christmas trip to WDW for this year and will be there the 17th through the 26th. Im looking forward to reading your report since you were there around the same time as we will be there this year.
This trip is mine and DDs first trip to WDW ever!! we are DL pros but not the WORLD!
My husband has gone once as a small child and once as a school chaperone; however, he has left about 90% of the planning to me for this trip. He usually plans all our family trips and does a fabulous job but since Im the Disney Freak he has left me to plan this one.
I have some big shoes to fill so I want the trip to be awesome. Of course there is always factors that I can't control and I'm adaptable to those but I want to try to know head of time of any unforeseen circumstances that I can avoid if possible.

Still reading on this rainy, cold Saturday night, but I had to make a couple of comments:

    1. LOL on the eyebrows. I've never had mine done and with your commentary, I doubt I ever will.
    2. You're welcome on the stockings. The kids and I had great fun putting it all together!
    3. $233 for a D&B purse that broke already? UGH! Can you call them to get another one? For that amount, they should replace it AND ship it for free!
    4. Tyranny of the monarchy? Yeah, that Liz is REALLY scary! LOL! (Yeah, I know it wasn't referring to her....)
    5. Clothes at the end of Kali was a deep, deep conspiracy constructed by the kids to get new clothes. They saw you comin', mama! LOL!!!!! J/K
    6. I'm SO sorry about Fish being splattered with ick. I think I would have tossed my own cookies had that happened.....

Promised Mikey I'd play a game with him and then I'll be right back at reading!

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

Boo on Sea World! I haven't been to Sea World Orlando since 1986, so I assume it would be a bit different now. I have been to the one in California and while I enjoyed it, the money spent to feed the animals irritated me too! Off to read days 8-11!

What a wonderful Christmas Eve, Day, and day after. I especially like the girls' day!!! 24 attractions??? I'm tired just reading about it! Mikey wants to try Disney Quest next trip, but I told him it was either that or it was Typhoon Lagoon. Thankfully, he chose the lagoon!

Ah, well--just like Christmas you are all excited and then "poof" it's gone! Alas, so is the trip report. I finally got to read and and I tore through it like a child opening presents on Christmas morning.....

It was lovely. Just lovely. You have quite the gift for writing, my friend! Glad to have been part of your holiday. Hopefully, one day our paths will cross in person!

    Great report!

I want to be British, so I can spend 2 weeks in Orlando.

Regarding SeaWorld: I have some of the same issues about the enclosures, and really this applies to zoos in general. I rationalize that at least the animals don't have to deal with predators.

Nice detailed write-up of the Harry Potter land in IOA. I barely spent any time in the shops myself, because they were so crowded.

I have been remiss in my trip report reading duties as of late, and I've been having fun catching up on them. Scooby, I must say that your report is now one of my favorites! I was highly entertained and wholeheartedly agree that your writing style is excellent. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Cheers!

Glad you enjoyed it. I'd add some photos but am a Luddite and have no idea how to do it sadly!
