I have tried looking on DL's website and I can't find info for when Star Tours is planning to reopen besides it saying in 2011. Does anyone know? Also, isn't the new Ariel ride in CA supposed to be open in 2011 also? Any info on either or both of these would be great. Thanks.
It was supposed to be May 20th for Star Tours but they might have changed that. As to Ariels I think they always said Spring 2011.
Nothing announced yet, May 20th has been confirmed for Orlando though.
Even though the 2 new rides are in different parks, it's a strong possibility that there will be a gap between openings to keep the crowds down.
OF COURSE it would be May 20th because we will be there May 8-10th. My 6year old son will be crushed because Star Tours is his favorite ride there.Originally Posted by lola2009

When I was at Blue Sky Cellar looking at the model for Little Memaid, last Thursday, I asked a CM if they thought it would be open by the time we go May 19-22, but the cast member thought it probably open around the same time WoC did last year, which would make it middle of June.

Yeah, we missed WOC by a week or so last year also because we went at the end of May last year. I guess I need to start planning trips a couple of weeks later then I origionally think we should go : )
I was actually thinking the same thing, but do they actually do that? I can still keep my fingers crossed.
I think it would be cool if they opened on May 25th.

I was reading something on the Disney blog today and it said May 20th for WDW and June for DL
guess I might need to change my dates if it's not early June
