Whoo-hoo! Paid the deposit today for our 5 night trip on the Dream. It is exactly what the Mrs wanted - a "Double Dip" stay where there are two stops at Castaway Cay. Yep, its 17 months away at this point, but after doing some shopping around, we got a good rate, some very generous on-board credits (yes, multiple), and what we think is going to be a good room.

Oh yea... its going to be a long wait. One that I bet will be well worth it.

Yes, but do keep in mind that there is a chance that not all '12 itineraries may be available. Some will come out later as DCL finalizes plans.

Everything that has been announced will be listed on the Disney Cruise website. Right now, they have announced the schedules for the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy (3, 4, 5, and 7 night cruises out of Port Canaveral, Florida) through August 2012, the Magic through March 2012 (7 night cruises out of Port Canaveral), and the Wonder through April 2012 (7 night cruises out of Long Beach, CA).

They have yet to announce where the Magic will be going after the Fantasy takes over the 7-night routes out of Port Canaveral in late March of 2012. It is widely assumed that the Magic will relocate permanently to Europe, but that isn't certain.

Johngar and I are booked for April 22 2012. We are so addicted to DCL. This will be our third Mexican Riveria cruise. As we see it, we have 6 sea days.

Finally pulled the trigger. The DW and I are now booked for the Magic's final Florida departure on March 24th. 6 nights to the Western Caribbean.

This will be our first Disney Cruise, and for what better reason? I'm turning 40!

Rebooked hubby & I on May 6, 2012-4 day Dream when I cruised with the kids earlier in the month. I hadn't planned on doing this. My husband and I did not discuss this first. We never book vacation without talking about them and planning a budget first. The rebooking on board was to good of a deal for me to pass up. Besides, I only had to place $118.00 deposit on a inside cabin. I figured if Jim didn't want to go I could rebook with my Mom and daughter and do a girls trip. I could cancel but we all know I won't. I might change the date but canceling won't happen.

I finally got around to telling my husband last night. My birthday is coming up and he asked me what I wanted. I told him not to worry about it I had it under control. He was fine with me rebooking and thought it was kind of funny since this is so unlike me. I'm glad he took it that way. Now we have to figure out if we want to spend the extra money for a better cabin or on excursions. I think were going to stick with the May 6th date as long as work or Grandma (who is keeping the kids) don't have issue with the date.
