Memento qualifies as "as creepy and/or weird as the Twilight Zone" doesn't it?

Please bring back the compass quest . . . although not exactly the compass I think the original post was referring to . . .

I was just deciding what my next tattoo will be. Hmmmm...

We have a small dry erase board and pen. It has become our favorite part of our MA tool kit!

Hey my kids have one of those! I doubt they would miss it for a mouseadventure. Great idea.

Notes on tape: one MA I packed a roll of the blue painters tape that got confiscated at the security check point. I guess security was concerned I was a vandal or saboteur that didn't think to conceal an WMD (weapon of masking destruction). I've since just taped up the bottom of my clipboard and just peel off what i need.

Another must that I didn't see listed: zip lock (or similar heavy gauge plastic) bags. These are ideal for holding small quest items that have a tendency to creep into corners of pockets or envelopes. It's much easier to find the bag.

I also use a function on my watch to count down time remaining and the stop watch to keep track of time spent on the current quest.

I noticed ads for eraseable highlighters while doing back-to-school shopping. I wonder how well they work?

I threw in a roll of tape on a whim for Spring 2011, and it absolutely saved us on the tiki quest! It's my new favorite tool!

The newest thing we have to have for this MA are our customized clip boards. Everyone on The Squirrel Squad are scrabble nuts, so we made our names look like scrabble tiles and decorated the board with our own designs...

I like them, too - but they'd drive me nuts. My sister and I are ALWAYS switching clipboards back and forth for various reasons. I can't imagine what it's going to be like with 4 of us (though I think there will be 2 types of clipboards).

We actually used them already for a different DLR scavenger hunt. They worked great. We were switching papers and boards back and forth, it wasn't a problem. Its nice to know that I can say "I have quest 3 on my board" and we all know which one that is. Our first MA we were searching through the papers on all the boards since they were all the same and we had passed them around.

We have always had our names written in Sharpie on the back of our clipboards but I like your idea better!

Sheet protectors and fine-point dry-erase markers work wonders, especially for word searches and such.
