Our family attended Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in September of 2008 and it was by far one of the best experiences we have had at WDW. Being avid fans like yourself Jeff, we had a fantastic time experiencing the uniqueness of the night, such as the unique meet-n-greets, character costumes and decorations. Oh, and the parade! Those shovels on the pavement . . . . AWESOME! And last but not least was the fireworks show . . . . one of the most fun ever put on. And that says a lot from someone who LOVES Wishes. Thanks for the picks of this year's show.
So do they have ANY storytelling of any sort any more? When I first went quite a few years back (it was before the sternwheeler major refurb) they had storytelling and singing ON the boat, plus 'scary' or 'happy' stories at probably half dozen places around the park. When the boat was out of commission for a couple years, it seems like they just got rid of all the storytelling.
Great shot of the Headless Horseman! He's so hard to capture on film!

I didn't see any story telling activities going on. Nor were there any posted that I was aware of.
Hello, we are going to the party on Sunday October 17. We were planning to buy the tickets that day. Have you ever heard of this selling out other than Halloween weekend???
Thank you,
Judy
I believe the price will be more if you purchase the tickets the day of the party. You can do it online. If you have a Disney Visa you can get a discount. We purchased our tickets over the phone for we had to and our tickets got to us within 5 days. Also, they could be sold out the day of. Never know, better to be safe than sorry.
