Remember that you need to have something in your signature and select "show signature" when you submit your post. The countdown is part of your signature so it won't display if you don't have a signature.

I don't know what I did, but my countdown clock isn't working again. I was trying to put a break between the signature and the actual clock. That didn't work, and now my clock isn't showing again. Can you help when you have time?

All I did was re-save it, which converts the apostrophes. Seems okay now.

I may have, emphasis may, fixed the bug in the countdown code that prevented the countdown from displaying when either the "counting" or "finished" message contained single or double quotes. If you were having trouble, please give it another try.

Note that part of the fix is that double quotes ("quote") cannot be used in the messages. If you enter them, they'll be removed when you save it. You can use single quotes ('quote') though.

Go to the "Countdown Settings" page in your User CP. Here you can change the messages and date, and you can also set it to "Not active" which will make it not appear in your signature.

As noted in the server move thread posted to the Admin forum, countdowns are temporarily unavailable because the plugin that powered them does not work with the new version of vB. We'll have them up and running again once a new plugin is installed and tested.
