DCA on Fridays and fav rides?
We've decided to spend the day of ToT at DCA, which will be Fri, Oct 1. We will head out for dinner and change into costumes a couple hours before the party at 7 (WOOT!
) What are the Fridays like over there? Neither of us (my fiance and I) have been to DCA before and are super happy to finally have more than one day to split between the parks
Are the crowds normally pretty light on Fri? What are some rides that are Musts for first timers in DCA?

Our absolute MUST at DCA is Soarin'! We do it first thing when we arrive early in the morning. When we've been there they would let people in to ride it half an hour before the park opens, but I'm not sure if they still do that. It's also the last thing we do at the end of our trip before we leave to fly home. We also love California Screamin' and Toy Story Midway Mania.

Our 'day' to spend at the parks is Friday. In October the crowds are usually pretty light in DCA. Soarin' is a must and so is Toy Story Midway Mania. If you're a thrill seeker then do Tower of Terror. See the Pixar Play Parade if you can, it's adorable. The Aladdin show is also pretty darn fantastic.

IMHO the best three rides in the resort reside in DCA:
-Toy Story Midway Mania
-Soarin' Over California
-Tower of Terror
The symphony swings are fun and exciting.
Monsters, Inc. is a very underrated ride and the character at the end that talks to riders is a scream.
Bug's Land has several rides which likely only interest you if you have children; that said, Francis' Ladybug Boogie is the one of the four that is engaging for adults.

Agreed! I love the ride and one of my favorite moments at Disneyland Resort was when she asked me "Young lady, are those your real ears?" (yes I was wearing Mickey ears lol) and my nephews cracked up laughing! So cute.
