I am thinking about watching and listening to wishes while I am in the main pool at the Polynesian. To anyone else who has done this what did you think? I am thinking about trying it on my first night to see what I think and if I reallly like this I might do this on some of the other nights that I will be staying at the Polynesian.
I don't know about watching while in the pool, but we watched from a few steps away on the beach at the Poly to spectacular effect!

Eating at Croc n bits and sitting on the beach plus shopping and touring the hotel and also watching the Water Pageant made this visit to Poly a must in the future. Love it.
We did this once and weren't even staying at the Polynesian. The kids were crashing from the heat and the long day, and nothing at the various counter services at the MK was appealing to them for dinner. We had planned to stay and watch Wishes, but instead decided to take an air conditioned ride on the monorail over to the Poly. We ate at Captain Cook's and then walked out to the beach to watch the show.. It was great. Very relaxing. We then hopped in a cab back to Port Orleans.
One thing we did miss was being right under Tink as she flies over but otherwise, it was great for a change.
It was great watching it from the beach at the Poly!! That's where I wish I was right now!

I have done this many times and it is such a wonderful way to see Wishes. It is a very relaxing setting and you don't have the tremendous crowd to battle. You will definitely enjoy this.
