I was wondering, I have heard that CM's get into the 4 main parks for free, but I have a few more ?'s. Do they get their immediate family in free also? Or maybe get a discount on their tix? Also, Is there a limit on how many times you get free entry? Lastly, Do the Disney Store CM's get this same benefit, or is it just for theme park CM's? TIA

Disney Store cm's only get free admission for themselves. Their family members will have to buy admission passes.

The rules for cm's working at wdw are different. They get in for free, but also get in a certain # of people (based on how many are in their family), but it may be limited to a certain # of times per year...not sure. They get in free as much as they want, unless a particular day is blacked out.

    Cool thanks

thanks for the info....I also heard that the CM's get pretty good discounts on hotel rooms at WDW..does anyone know if this is true? I am considering a PT job at the Disney Store and the main reason would be for discounts at DL an WDW. Any info is helpful....Thanks!!!

Normal policy is cm's get 50% off resort rooms but can only book 21 days in advance. However, this year things are so slow they released the cm rates for the entire year (thru 12/31) really early in the year. CM's can normally book at 25% off more than 21 days in advance, I think.

Currently anyone with an annual pass can get 45% off rooms, and there are many specials for other people as well, which makes the cm discount less of a big deal. However, if a TDS job is something you *want* to do, then having that discount can be a great perk. I don't consider it worth getting a job just for the possibility of a discount that (at least for now) is so easily almost matched without having to work at TDS.

The resort discounts are for all cm's, but those at the parks are also able to book discounted rooms for friends & family. I'm pretty sure TDS cm's can only book a room for themself at the discount, and must show their id at check in.
