Which location would be great place to celebrate my 2 yr old birthday? Also, what to order.
We are staying at the Disneyland hotel, any birthday suggestions there?
To be honest, anything and all that is suggested, we are most likely willing to book.

Ariel's Grotto (Princesses) would be a great place for a birthday meal. Make sure to tell them you are celebrating a birthday when you make the reservation.
The Pat-E-Cake (spelling?) Birthday Celebration at Plaza Inn is a great place to decorate a cake and meet Mickey and Minnie. We took our DD there for her 2nd birthday in March 2004 and she insisted that we go there for my 40th birthday on March 9.

Ariel's Grotto as the kid is 2 and free. It has lots of good food just like in a fancy restaurant but is kid friendly. There will be princesses to entertain and lots of photo opportunities.
Goofy's Grill is a buffet dinner and there is a brunch. It is all you can eat, characters visiting, some little skits sometimes, and photo opportunities.
Minnie's Breakfast has lots of characters who come to your table. Lots of phot ops and great food.

I have to agree with Ariel's Grotto is wonderful for children...also are they into the bears and other animals if so call and check on their Characters at Storytellers in the Grand Californian Hotel the Characters are different here then other places.. Breakfast there would be wonderful that day with Ariel's Grotto later..... and yes get a button for sure everyone that sees her wearing it will wish her a happy birthday Cast Members are really great about that and so are other Guest that are just walking by.... now if you make reservations for a meal... at most of these places if they know it's for a birthday they'll have a button with her name on it ready for her to wear...... have a wonderful day... happy birthday
