    kooky pens for character autographs

I bought the Disney set of four Kooky pens at Costco--$9.99 great deal! Hoping they will work for autographs, but are they too short?
Anyone used these for character autographs?
    Thanks!

I saw that set and am still thinking I should have bought them. I dont think they will work for character autographs though, to short and stubby, but I have not personally ever used one.

We took retractable sharpies to WDW and they were great because the characters could easily close them when they were finished. I would think that the Kooky pens would be too short.

    I agree with Adrienne

The retractable sharpies are awesome. My DD had a picture/ autograph book that was kinda glossy, so the sharpie was great (no smudges). Just make sure the ink is dry before you shut the book.

The regular ink pens didn't write on the glossy pages as well. If you have normal paper pages than a ball point would work OK, but the retractable sharpies are really nice so you don't loose the lids.

I am sorry to report I saw Pluto have considerable difficulty signing with a kooky two weeks ago.

Granted, he's a dog, so it's pretty surprising he can write anything but it was definitely not easy. I was thinking I wish I had a sharpie to loan him (a big one, since he has some of the more awkward hands for signing).

So I'm reading my bean feed...

Regardless of being able to use them for autographs or not, they are still a great purchase.

How long ago did you get them?
They would make great stocking stuffers.

Thanks for the info! Looks like I'll get the retractable Sharpies

I bought them last month, but saw them still at Costco (Arizona) on Monday. I'm using them for stocking stuffers, too!

for the most part they are fine. We just got back last night from a 4 day trip and 90% of the time we used the Kookie pens and their whole book is FULL of autographs we ran out of pages...you may want to had a stand by just in case but they did use them for the most part
