How busy do you think Disneyland will be Dec 15-20th this year? It is the last weekend before Christmas. I have only been during the 21-29th of December on different years. One was during the 50th. It was very busy. I've also been the first week of August. It was pretty busy at this time as well. Any comparisons?
Is spring Break still going on the last week of march...i'm thinking of March 29-1st. Actually going to the park on the 30th and the 31st...is it expected to be crazy busy?? My bday is april 2nd and im blocked out so I gotta go sooner haha. any thoughts?
I am waitlisted for 2 of my nights at the VGC. I called Sheraton Park Anaheim to see about rooms as a back up and the rep said they are also sold out for that time frame. Does any know what is going on that week? Couldn't find anything on the convention calendar.

I noticed June 21 & 22 are on of just a few block out dates on the Give a Day tickets, so something must be going on in the parks, don't know what though.
You're right! The block out dates for the Give a Day tickets are a little strange - Sun 3/21 - nothing else during Spring Break and/or Easter; Sun 11/21 - nothing else around Thanksgiving. And nothing over Memorial day or Labor Day, which is the Half Marathon.... weird!
So does anyone know what is going on in the parks on 6/21 & /22???
That's my littlest munchkin's bday.... so I wouldl ove to know what's up that day to see if we need to plan around it. We are deluxe ap holders so I don't think we are blocked out.

So I'm headed to the Land in April. Do you think most of the spring break crowds will have subsided by April 13-15? Anyone know what the park hours will be then? I'm thinking that extended hours will no longer be in effect.

What are weekends like in February? We are looking at either the 19th and 20th or the 26th and 27th for a quick trip to the Happiest Place on Earth but wonder what the crowds would be like. Thanks!

Yes, those should be busy days, not Christmas week busy, but busy. That is President's week here, where some people will use the holiday on the 15th and take the whole week, and some schools around the country have the whole week off. I believe that's Rodeo week in Arizona, where a lot of schools have the whole week off, and so it is a popular week for Arizonans to visit the parks. If you look at the Disneyland park hours for that week they are opened 9-11 on weekdays, although most of January and February they are only open 10-8. Although not all places take holidays for Lincoln's birthday anymore, some schools (like our school here in Sacramento) have Lincoln's birthday off on February 8, others have a holiday for it on Friday, February 12. There should be some heightened crowds due to that. If you'll notice on the DL calendar, they're running longer than normal weekday off season hours (which would 10-8) on Monday the 8th. But Tuesday through Thursday they must not be expecting big crowds, because they're open 10-8. President's Day weekend, the 12th-15th will be very busy. Notice they're running 8-12 hours in anticipation of that.
So I would expect crowds on the 7th and 8th, due to the longer weekend for some, and big crowds on the 12th and 13th, but for it to be relatively quiet 9th-11th.

Okay, I am heading to Disney again in April. Just got back with the whole family October 3rd and it was CRAZY BUSY!!!!! Now I am going with my sister, her son and my daughter who is 7. Can anyone tell me how busy it will be April 25 through the 27th? Thanks
Park hours for the weekend of Feb 26-28 are 8am-midnight.
Are those the hours for ALL weekends nowadays? Or is that weekend expected to be a super busy one?
It's been a while since I went on a weekend.
Seems like they are open till 12 most weekends. In the summer they close even later some days

I didn't see this posted yet on the question about the 19th-20th and since I was hoping to go at that time too looked at the Convention Center website and see that there is a Disney's Martial Arts Festival going on that weekend so thought I'd post it. Not sure if that's the main driver, because there are a few other things listed too like a Volleyball Tourney. Although I guess the block out dates listed above were 21st-22nd, so probably not related.
I had a couple of friends who went that week last year and said it was moderately busy. It is the last week the Promotional Hopper is being offered so I think that tends to draw some people trying to squeeze in a trip before the prices go up the following week. But I doubt it would be crazy busy.
