Loved reading all the votes for favorite food/drink/etc. But I do have a problem with 2 of the votes -

Best steak - California Grill came in third, but I'm betting that's because it's a higher priced restaurant that many haven't had the good luck to experience. If they had, they'd know that the tamarind bbq marinated beef filet is not only the best cut of beef in the World, but quite possibly the tastiest steak on the planet!

My other problem was with best bar. I love the Rose & Crown, but not even a mention for Mizner's in the Grand Floridian? It's a very small, intimate bar with very friendly bartenders and waitresses, and you have an excellent big band playing just outside. What's not to love?

Oh, and if you ever do a category of Best Desserts, my vote by far would be for the now-unavailable pineapple chunks with caramel dipping sauce at 'Ohana. Such a simple dessert, but after a huge meat filled meal, it's just the perfect light touch to top it all off!

Our first time at the California Grill, I had an excellent pork loin while my wife had the tamarind filet. I tried a small piece of her steak and the pork loin went out the window.

Flash forward to the next trip and I order the filet. Except this time, it's a Terriyaki sauce and, honestly, it was overpowering. I should have asked for it on the side.

I've not yet tried Mizner's but it's now on my list. Thanks.

Many people have raved about the pineapple/caramel at 'Ohana but by the time I got there, it had changed to bread pudding.

I quite liked the Belle Vue -- visited for the first time on our recent MouseAdventure trip -- and am perversely pleased it didn't place. That just means it won't be crowded next time I go.

I had one horrible service experience at the Victoria Falls lounge and haven't been back, but I love the location and decor so I really want to try it again sometime.

I think my eventual goal is to try every single bar and lounge on property.

    I agree - let's keep it a secret.

I have had this version of the filet, and they must have fixed the problem cuz it was still incredibly tasty! I keep forgetting that they made this change, as the tamarind bbq sauce was just perfect.

I have been able to request this and they brought it out, but it was different. They used to serve the fresh chunks on a pineapple rind, but the last time I had it it was just pineapple chunks from a can. Still tasty, but not quite the same. And I've heard that they may not even be doing that any more, but it's still worth the question to your waiter.

What kind of cocktails do they serve at the Rose & Crown? I always saw that as a place to have beer, not a good mixed drink. One of the best on our recent trip was the bar at The Wave in the Contemporary. Also, Rix at the Coronado. That was the only place I tried that had caipirinhas on the menu.

All of them. Seriously, it's a fully stocked bar. They make a great vodka martini! I used to feel a little odd ordering vodka from a British pub, but they don't care whether you're a beer drinker or the hard stuff.
