Holiday - where & when is the snow? [Wintertime Enchantment]

I remember last year that it seemed to snow at times other than right after the fireworks (at least it did down by Small World).

I tried looking on the website, but couldn't find anything about other snow times...does anyone know if this is going on again this year?

    TIA!!

It is when they light the castle (in stages.) It is under
Wintertime Enchantment Holiday Lighting on the calendar.

yes - the Winter Enchantment. it does not snow each time, though. On 11/13 it snowed after the 530 lighting.... there is a sound track where a young boy and his mother talk about wishes - the castle lights up, and the tree at Town Square sparkles, then the snow on Main Street hits. Try to be in the middle - near Carnation Cafe..

    Thanks!

Can anyone report if they are doing snow near Small World too?

I went today (Monday the 16th) and got snowed on as I came off Small World. It was a little after 7:00 (the time thing had just happend on Small World and we were walking away when the little boy and his mom started up before the snow).

I think the show times are at 5:30, 7:30, and after fireworks. I caught the 5:30 one at small world while exiting the ride last Friday and the 7:30 show at the castle.

    Wintertime Enchantment Holiday Lighting

Can anyone describe the "Wintertime Enchantment Holiday Lighting (posted on the Disneyland calendar). We were there 3 years ago in December and I don't remember anything called that.

They started it last year. They light and "ice" the castle in 3-4 steps. At the end, it snows. It is actually very pretty. I am going to merge this thread with one on the snowfall as there is more info there.

And also, the tree and mickey garlands get "iced" too. I had forgotten that this year, until DH pointed it out to me. It's sooo pretty. But hard to keep switching back and forth between viewing the castle and the tree.

I don't think I saw where the snow times were officially listed...but I remember seeing the times for the castle lighting. Maybe online???

After all of this discussion, the kids were going strong all night, and we were fine with the "snow" after the fireworks.
