Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Best one was Under the Tuscan Sun.
Busy week with tons of old movies like The Patriot.

"Avatar" - Really enjoyed the film.
I guess I have a glitch in my matrix.
blah blah blah blah
Finding Nemo, DS' favorite movie. He asks to watch it everyday.
Nichole
I saw It's Complicated last night and and really enjoyed it. I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time.
I guess I have a glitch in my matrix.

I finally had some time to watch a few movies over the past few days:
The Prestige which was rather good. It was one of those movies that started out a little slow but then I kept on watching because I had to see how things ended. The last 30 minutes really makes the movie.
I also got to see the new Star Trek film.... I was very impressed all around and I am sure I will watch it again. Stunning on Blu-Ray!
The search function is like the Force. It may take practice, but the more you use it, the more control you will have over it!
"Invictus" - Really good movie. Good directing by Clint Eastwood and terrific performances by Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon and really the entire ensemble cast.
I guess I have a glitch in my matrix.
blah blah blah blah
The most amazing to me about Invictus is that Matt Damon looked like both of these pictures in movies released this year:
Just saw Avatar. While I found the storyline EXTREMELY predictable, I thoroughly enjoyed the visuals. (However, I still thought the Na'vi (sp), while beautiful, looked a bit CGI "cartoony." For ultra real CGI, I'm still thinking Davy Jones himself can't be beat (IMHO)
Cruising the Seas... Looking for the Pearl
The Princess and the Frog. We liked the story and loved the music!
2 DWs and a dog.
Saw Sherlock Holmes Friday night. Great movie!
Watched Coraline on DVD Monday. It was cute, not too scary but now I need to read the book.
Have a Disney Day!

We saw Princess and the Frog and loved it (me & my 15 yr old daughter) and New Years' Eve went to Avatar 3d - it was awesome, long - but very good. The 3d is great and it is a 'must see on the big screen' kind of movie.
We've also watched some Christmas movies over the holidays - Christmas with the Kranks, Jingle All the Way, Die Hard (forget which ones were at Christmas...the first one, anyhow...we watched a few...)
And Con Air - man, that's a good show "Put down the Bun-ny."
“I think most of all what I want Disneyland to be is a happy place, where parents and children can have fun, together.” - Walt Disney
And we do!!!
I saw Leap Year last night with the girls and Avatar tonight with the DH.
I thought Leap Year was a good chick flick. Light, predictable, too silly in some spots, but overall good.
Avatar was great. It was well done; long, but not too long, political/preachy, but not enough to make me roll my eyes. It somewhat reminded me of some of his other movies... specifically The Abyss.
ETA: The machines they used could have come off the Aliens set, but, of course, it is set in the future.

The Blind Side- Loved it. I thought t was a great story. It is really amazing how this family opened their home to someone they didn't even know.
Night at the Museum 2- It is not what I thought it was going to be. It was funny and I love how it had so many famous actors and actresses in it even if they didn't have a lot of "on-air" time.

DH and I had a "date night" and saw "Up in the Air." Very good.
