We took our X-mas card pic at DL this year. Has anyone else done this? Last year the pic was taken at New Schwanstein castle in Germany. This year we decided to keep the theme going and took it at the 'fake' New Schwanstein. For you eagle eyes, thats Ludwigs childhood castle in the background .
Aaahhh, yes a MANY Christmas card photos have been taken at Disneyland.
I have to do something really cool this year since my DS will be 18. I don't know how I will handle it next year. I guess if he is still at home I will continue the tradition.
Hmmm, he wont be with us on our Thanksgiving trip, so I probably wont have it done in DL this year either.
We've had a couple years in the front by the flowers, a couple years in front of the castle, one year with just the kids on California Santa's lap, one year with our dog and the kids outside the kennel.....wow, I just realized we have sent a lot of Disney themed cards through the years.
Disneyland has a lot of beautiful spots for this. Have fun!

That is SO cool. I haven't yet visited Neuschwanstein, so I have to make do with plain ol' Sleeping Beauty Castle. I know I'm hoping to take our holiday photo in Russia when we visit with Disney Cruise Line next year.
Malcon10t and CariBelle, Court des Anges is being used for the Princess and the Frog meet and greet this year, so you'll have to find another spot for your photos!

I'm walking in the 2012 Disneyland Half Marathon in honor of two incredible Lymphoma survivors in my life: Gramma Jan and my friend Michele. If blood cancers have touched your life, please consider a donation to my walk fund to help fund better cures.
here's ours from last year when i was about 28 wks pregnant. we're not going til dec 12th this year, so we'll take pics there, but it won't be our official picture.

Yesterday, while the characters were doing the Showboat show, they were allowing people to take pictures there.

We usually get ours done at DL. The location varies depending on which picture looks the best. Sometimes it's with characters & sometimes not. I'm having a hard time deciding this year. either one with Chip and Dale or this one in DCA but many people probably won't know it's from DL.
Here's the character one I like best. I just couldn't get a family picture without someone with a hat or sunglasses on. And I couldn't figure out how to put 2 pictures in one post-sorry! I just learned how to do one after a couple years on here

They're both great. I think I like the first one best though as your daughter gets lost a little between Chip and Dale.
We've never traditionally done a holiday pic. We are considering one this year. We won't be in the parks until March though so it'll probably be either in front of our fireplace or our tree. We do always take a pic in certain spots each trip though.

All nice pictures for Christmas card taken from Disneyland. Keep them coming. I post mine when I take one at Disneyland. I would have took one on Friday November 13th but my friend had my digital camera

Anytime we are in Disney at christmas we decide to do that. And since this is only our 2nd time being able to go at Christmas time and my 2 DDs 61/2 and 4 are still young enough I bought them matching Disney shirts fir each day of our trip so they will be photo ready each day since I always find that they one day I dont prepare for it is the day we take the best photo where we are all in our scruffy comfys LOL so Im preparing this time and my hubby and I usually try and wear at least the same color shirst/sweaters with jeans. Corny a little but the pics always turn out good. Take FULL advantage of the photopass and do different ones so you have a variety to choose from.
I didn't even have to bribe them this year!! Maybe because DS is almost 18 and I said this is your last Christmas card photo as a "kid". He will always be my baby boy though.
We took these on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Just the kids this year.
