    Eek! Birthday Dining Suggestions

We're taking DD to DL for her 6th BD in Dec.

What do you suggest? She fairly simple with most things but, can be sophisticated at times, & she does enjoy princesses & animals too.

Characters or no? How about the Blue Bayou?

If you have experience with a similar 6 year old, please suggest. I'm overwhelmed by all the options.

    Thanks.

I'd do Ariel's. It has Princesses and is "fine kid dining" if that makes sense.

    I second that.

Agreed. The Blue Bayou is nice, but I doubt a six year old would really be too fond of the atmosphere.

Another option to consider would be the Plaza Inn. They do a birthday package, though I'm not sure what it includes.
Finally got my PAP back! Disneyland everyday!

The Plaza Inn birthday event is simple: Everyone gets to make their very own birthday cake and you get to take pictures with Mickey and Minnie. There is no meal involved so this is not the "place" to sit down and have a meal. We took our little guy on his sixth birthday there and it was just right for his age. 8 or older may think that it's kinda lame.

You should also get a birthday bucket if they still have them. It's definitely worth it IMHO. I think you have to pre-order them through Disney Dining.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Just made our reservations at...

    Ariel's Grotto.

I had no idea that you didn't need to guarantee with a credit card or I'd have done it sooner.
