Can you get skim (fat free) milk......

......in the parks at Disneyland? What about the HoJo and McDonalds? We'll be staying at the HoJo and are hoping to be able to buy small bottles or tiny cartons of it to keep in the tiny fridge there. My daughter cannot tolerate the fat in milk. We won't have a car, but can most likely walk to the 7/11.

Just a thought that popped into my head at 4am.....sometimes insomnia can be good for trip planning!

At La Brea Bakery Cafe in Downtown Disney they have low fat in the little cartons for sale. We used those to take back to the room fridge for later. They have non-fat as well but they have to pour it into a to-go cup for you.

    Hope that helps some!

Hojo's sells milk in their "store". I'm not sure which kinds though.
Also, you can have groceries delivered from the local stores. Sometimes, your first order is free. Sometimes it's around $10.

Can she handle low-fat? They do have low-fat 2% all over the parks. We like to bring our own though - we get the little 3 packs of Horizon organic milks at Target for under $3 and take those for the baby. My girls can share a kids meal and then we bring the extra milk so it's cheaper that way. They don't have to be refrigerated and their packaging is very light so they don't way weigh down your bags.

Horizon is one company but at Henry's I saw the individual cartons of Clover milk. They do not need refrigeration and technically since they are dietary related the milk would be exempt from baggage weights.

You can get a cup of ice at restaurants and chill the milk that way. Get a second cup if you need to strain the ice. That is your best solution. If you need I can go on a scouting expedition and search for fat free milk locations. I am going to D23 next weekend.

I verified tonight. Plaza Inn and Pizza Port both have skim milk.

thank you so much for checking! Yup, it has to be fat free milk...not just 1%or 2%. Initially we were going to rent a car so that we could get some supplies, but thought better of it and decided that if we REALLY needed anything that badly, a cab would be a better deal.....we can spend the rest of the money saved on fun stuff instead of leaving the car in the parking lot for a week!!
