News Update - August 13, 2009
Hello Big Kahuna Club!

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is open for normal operations today and throughout the weekend and is not affected by the fire in the remote area of northern Santa Cruz County.



As of Thursday morning, Highway 17 from San Jose and Highway 1 from San Francisco and Monterey into Santa Cruz are operating as normal.
Air quality in the City of Santa Cruz and the area around the Boardwalk is good according to the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District.

Our thoughts are with those individuals impacted by the fire, and the men and women working to get the fire under control.
