    Gaylord Palms

Anyone ever stay here before for a WDW trip? I just got the news that the conference I go to will be returning to Orlando in 2011, but at the Gaylord Palms. Then in 2013, 2015, and 2017 it will be back at Coronado Springs!

Haven't stayed there, but I've been there a few times. It's a beautiful resort. Check out this story that we ran earlier this year. Also, if you're on Twitter, you can follow them at @GaylordPalms and ask them any questions that you may have.

Edited to add: If anyone is looking to book a stay there, don't forget to get your special MousePlanet discount rate!

Is that the place that does the really cool ICE thing in December?

That's the one. This year, ICE! runs from November 14, 2009 - January 5, 2010.

Like Mark, I've been there but not stayed there. I think it is a beautiful resort. The person we were picking up said that the rooms that face the HUGE courtyard have the best view, but are REALLY loud at all hours. All of those sounds bouncing around.

Working hard for that next WDW trip! December 2013

    Thanks everyone for the info.

I am contemplating staying on WDW property and just driving to the Gaylord each morning. It will be my wife and kids first trip to WDW, so I think I want them to stay onsite for the first time. But I still have a long time to decide.
