Value Season Hours
I'm starting to plan our trip to the World in 2010! Very exciting as I haven't been back for 9 years. Does anyone know the usual park hours for the various parks in January - February? The official calendar doesn't go that far yet.
Looks like we'll have to be there over a weekend, which I was trying to avoid, but my consolation is I'm thinking there will be entertainment on the weekend that we would not otherwise see. Am I correct?
I'm sure I'll think of more questions later!

The hours will likely be similar to September (which ARE published). That's a 'guess' but an educated one. Maybe a little shorter in the evenings, but not by much.
There isn't a whole lot of difference in entertainment schedules for weekend vs not. You have to remember that the WDW crowd is NOT a 'local' crowd that pops in on their days off from work, it's a crowd that TRAVELS to WDW, so actually I think one school of thought is that weekends are LESS crowded than weekdays, because most families come for a week and therefore travel on the weekend.

I also thank you for the value season hours info as I'm planning my 2010 visit for the same time. This will be my 2nd visit ...and probably my last ~sigh~ due to family commitments regarding my dearly beloved elderly parents. So the value season trip is going to the BEST trip ever and the memories will have to last me forever!

Drince, thank you for making a good point about the weekend. As a Disneyland veteran I have to start thinking outside the box!

I would suggest checking out the WDW Park Updates from those times to get an idea of hours in previous years. Parks do tend to close fairly early compared to what you may be used to, so be prepared for that. I would suggest planning table service meals for later evening so that you won't sacrifice park time.

Do you mean the MousePlanet updates? I don't see park hours on the weeks I checked.
