Hey I liked the new salads at the Harbor Galley

I am not really a fan of DL food in the park. I really only like the dole whips, but I don't consider it food food just sort of a snack. I have tried the corn dogs but they were not to my liking. I have also tried Cafe Orleans, the French Market, Plaza Inn, Pizza Port, Blue Ribbon Bakery and more. None of the food really excites me. The new salads at the Harbor Galley, the place that used to have french fries, were IMHO really good. They even had yellow pear tomatoes and feta? on them. I had the beef salad. The price was something like $10. Bummer they don't take the annual pass discount but I liked it and the portion was large. I was not willing to get the salmon salad, too risky for me, but saw some people eating it and they said it was delicious.

So give the salads a try. It is quick food(no lines even on that crazy Tuesday which was the last day of the southern ca passes) BTW I have not tried the new bbq at the ranch by Big Thunder Mountain but I hear it is good too. It,however, requires a reservation.

Actually, a reservation is not required, but recommended. Like any other restaurant that accepts priority seating, they will take walk-ups if there's room.

Why no PAP discount? The corn dog cart gives a discount, I wonder why they don't?

Right accross from Splash Mountain / Haunted Mansion... somewhere in that area. It's right on the river.
