So I have been considering scheduling a character breakfast at Plaza Inn
the same morning as early morning madness.... has anyone else done this
before, I thought it would be a nice change over at the time the park
officially opens.

We did this last Sept. We stayed with some friends at DLH for two days. We were at the gates EARLY for MM, I think we left the hotel around 6:30 to walk to the gates. We did our MM thing and then had breakfast at Minnie & Friends around 9 (park officially opened at 8). Our MM experience was amazing and the restaurant was deserted until almost 10am. For us it worked out great. We had four kids (ages: 2,2,1 & 7mos), they had a blast and had more character interaction than I've ever had at a character breakfast. (Not counting CBRBBQ because it's not 'technially' a character meal)
I'd do it again in a minute!

Add me to the do the breakfast at park open especially if it is a MM day! People don't want to 'waste' the morning so the place is usually 2/3 full at best and lots of great character interaction.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets ~So love the people who treat you right
Forget about those who don't ~ Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a chance, take it If it changes your life, let it ~Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would most likely be worth it~ remember, Sometimes Miracles Hide
Well I called Disney they gave m prices for the "character meal" they were
very reasonable, plus I get to use my 10% off on this from Triple "A", can't
beat that!
So going to do our MM then head to breakfast with Minnie!

That's the way to do it
Bob Genghis Khan, So-crates Johnson, Dennis Frood, & uh, uh... Abraham Lincoln // I've been ionized ... but I'm okay.

I don't think you'll regret it. Just be sure to ask your server when the characters will be at your table so you don't miss any while at the buffet. That was our first mistake at our first character breakfast. Timing is everything!
HAVE A BLAST!!!
