A very specific weather challenge ?ion
Ok - as my horribly long countdown clock shows I'm back to WDW for Christmas 2010. I know all about 'average' weather temperatures, average highs, average lows, blah, blah, blah. What I cannot find, probably because of my own ineptitude, is historic data about specific temperatures on specific dates in past Decembers. Seeing what actually happened temperature wise day by day over a few years period would so SOOO much more helpful. Dates will be about 17th -31st December and I'm after specific detail as noted above.
I KNOW you can answer this

Ok I had found that but not the page Greg took me to (note previous acknowledgement of ineptitude...). Zip code please?
(That's a post code to me

Oh, I just put in Orlando, FL and it got me the right data! I have no clue what Orlando's Zip/postal code is (I can barely remember my own!). See, I figured you'd have seen the 'trip planning' on the front page of their website right away.
But I DID forget what time it was there!
I just love their site - they're one of the few 'reliable' sites that show the results of multiple tropical activity models as a 'spaghetti' diagram. It helps me interpret what the National Hurrican Center is saying a little more visually - and not just a wide 'cone of uncertainty'. I understand why the NHC doesn't publish them, but for those of us who can INTERPRET and not take literally, they're very very handy.
But you don't have to worry about that in December!

You are both WONDERFUL I got nearly exactly what I wanted, thanks. The nearly bit... Is there a button (click) I'm missing where I can make it change to farenheit instead of centigrade? I can do the conversion in my head but am happy to take the lazy path if it's there. I couldn't see a conversion button?
Now I just need to be able to see into the futire to pick that 'best' lovely summer day to spend a fortune for my fish to swim with the dolphins. (Not Disney I know...)

VERY top of the screen (I found it after I put in the airport code and dates) there's a button "Edit my page preferences". It's one of the choices there.

More WONDERFUL points for you! Thank you. Looks like we will definately get some days hot enough for us to be in water a lot based on the averages (we are not used to really hot in England) but guessing those days is going to take considerable luck, which in terms of weather on our holidays we are not used to. DH's standing joke is that the out of the norm weather books our holidays with us
We have had tropical storms in Florida, hurricanes in Jamiaca, freezing temps in England in July, torrential daily rain and flood conditions in France. I could go on.

Two additional items.
1. The ZIP (Postal) Code for Disney World is 32830.
2. At the water parks we keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) except for Shark Reef which does not have heaters. What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.
If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.
But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.
Disneyland Trips: 13 trips for 49 nights.
But I live less than 20 miles from Walt Disney World! And work there part-time.
