Sanaa has some nice specialty cocktails. You might want to consider one!

I just might, but usually I'm happy with a nice glass of wine at dinner.

We considered Sana but decided its just too much of treck to get to. Had a great meal at Boma once but took us ages to get there and now DH things AKL is too remote to stay at or eat at

As always I'll have my car, so getting there will be a piece of cake.

Yes we will have a car too. Just seems too far to go to eat. We can also get very good Indian food on the doorstep. I know Saana is some sort of Indian/African mixture but not different enough for the journey. Maybe next time.

In fact I just bought a new camera and am greatly looking forward to photo journaling the whole trip. Something I discovered after our last trip in 2010 was that it looked like the 2yr old went all by himself So lot of photos this time around with everyone in the photo... no matter how much they complain!

^^^I know what you mean, I'm usually the one missing from all the photos because I am the family photographer. Sounds like a great trip you have planned! ^^^

My daughter, the original NikkithePooh, could not get a dinner reservation at BOG on Nov. 29, so she and her boyfriend are doing lunch instead. The lunch menu sounds better to me!

The lunch menu actually looks a little better to me, too. But since we'll be arriving 2 days after the new Fantasyland opens, I'm worried that lunch will be total chaos. We went ahead and made a dinner reservations for about halfway through our week. If we are lucky and can get in for lunch earlier in the week, we'll cancel our dinner reservation.

    ADRs for our December trip:

    T-Rex--dinner
    Coral Reef--lunch (new for us)
    50s Prime Time--lunch
    Be Our Guest--dinner
    Cinderella's Royal Table--breakfast

We usually don't make this many ADR's, but we will be a party of 12 so I'm assuming walk-ups will be impossible.

I agree. As much as I want the whole dinner experience, I think that the lunch menu sound MUCH better. I would suggest going when they first open--it's going to be MOBBED from noon on....
