That is pretty much the theory I am going with. When you go every year it's nice to check out new places.

It is so cheap that I don't want to "waste" a TS credit with it. I think I might make an ADR for when I go in October with the boyfriend. We aren't doing the dining plan because of F&W so any TS restaurants we do will have to be cheap.

Let me know how you like it!

I am sooo soo excited. Anytime, is a good time for WDW, but I want my inlaws to enjoy the experience too. As I said our trips are always 10 nights, and there is some down time so I am just thrilled to be on the less than 6 month stretch.

    Oh yeah,

I screwed up the date lists...it's California Grill and Brown Derby. We have been there every time since we were running to our ADR in the pouring rain, the waiter offered me a tablecloth, we enjoyed the dinner and environment, and later found out we were pregnant and didn't know. We had been trying for 10 years, and then surprise....so BD is a must.

528toI4-'Wing it' as in a TS or 'wing it' as in you don't care where you eat?

    Kristin

  13. #312

Wing it as in hope for the best. We should be at BLT by 4:00 and kids will be yelping to get to the park and will not care much about a sit down meal. On the last day you never know how tired you will be or how much you will want to get done so again we will wing it.

    Eek!

Thanks. Not to sound greedy but I would have loved to try Le Cellier but we have lots on the list that is new to us.

Also omg, I am so thrilled that I get a CM rate for the dining plan. It's our first time getting this and it's the 1 snack, 1 counter service, 1 table for only $25. Is this good? Normally I use my CM discount on dining and have never had a dining plan before.

We went ahead and got the Deluxe Dining Plan since it's only for 2 nights & we only have tickets for 1 day. Here are our reservations:

5/24 - Lunch - House of Blues (paying OOP as we have a $25 off coupon)
    Dinner - Narcoossee's

    5/25 - Lunch - Teppan Edo
    Dinner - Jiko

    5/26 - Boma - Breakfast

We can hardly wait, is it May yet?

Yeah, we're paying Out of Pocket for this trip (no DDP) so that's why we chose it. I agree that it is not worth a TS credit, much like Sci Fi.

I actually have eaten here before, back in 2007. I really like it. Good sandwiches, excellent fries (not the usual ones at WDW), and a lovely view of the castle!

    Phbbbt our dining plan

I'm so excited!!! I just booked our ADR and got everything we asked for on the Deluxe dining plan.

    we are eating at:

cinderella's royal table for lunch ( I hope Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother are there too )
    chef mickey 2x
safari breakfast ( I sure hope minnie is there with donald)
ohana breakfast with lilo and stitch 2x
    kona breakfast 3x
    supercalafagilistic
    california grill
    yachtmans steakhouse
    t-rex
    coral reef
    sci-fi diner
    aloha dinner show
    whispering canyon
    ohana dinner 2x
and 10 other table service or quick dinning

I wonder if I should book 3 ohana with lilo and stitch and 2 kona instead of what I have...? what do you think.

Instead of doing the same restaurant multiple times why don't you try something else?

How many days are you staying that you get that many ADRs?

I would try to get an ADR in the World Showcase. Teppan Edo is a great place.

Mama Melrose (DHS) or Tutto Italia (Epcot) for some Italian food.

Just know that you are going to be travelling outside of the parks a lot. This is very time consuming. Especially because 9 of the places are centered around MK.

I see 2 Chef Mickey's, 2 Ohana Breakfast, 3 Kona Breakfast, and 2 Ohana dinners.

I like The Wave as an option (in the Contemporary) and second Wish I Was There's suggestions for Epcot or the Studios. Yak & Yeti is good (Animal Kingdom), too.

If you want another character breakfast, the Princess Breakfast in Norway is pretty popular.

Like Drince said it looks like you are repeating more than that. From what I see you are repeating 2 dinners and 3 breakfasts?

2 other dinners for me I would choose....

    -Teppan Edo (Epcot)
    -Mama Melrose (DHS)

3 other breakfasts I would choose (and I really hate breakfast)....

-Breakfast in Norway (like Drince said!)
-Cape May Cafe (Character Breakfast at the Beach Club)
    -1900 Park Faire (Grand Floridian)

Another breakfast option that my friend whose last trip was in 2001 just came back and raved about was Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
