Alright I stepped out of my comfort zone and I am trying the San Angel Inn!!!!!!!!!!!
Haven't been there since eek...1999!
I cancelled Kona, since I ate there within the past 2 years and it was good but not so good that I need to do it again.
I can't wait to sit by the water and soak in Mexico! I hope the food is passable.

Without reading the entire thread to see if we've already discussed this, I think you'll find the San Angel Inn VASTLY improved over what it was just a year ago. The food is much fresher and tastier, and the service has been excellent. They still seat people a bit too closely together, though.
I hope so....they are usually from 5-8 PM. I love riding Expedition Everest after dark! I know they stop the animal viewing during evening EMH.
Thanks, Shannon. That's helpful to know for trip planning!
Then we'll either book Yak & Yeti near park closing time or head over to Boma after park close that day.
I've only been twice to evening EMH at AK and I remember how beautiful the park looked after dark. I'll miss it!
thank GODDD for Mouseplanet!
With all my wedding planning stuff, I totally forgot to book my ADR's. I came on here today and I read the thread title and i jumped out of my skin. HOW COULD I FORGET!
Of curse, most of my selections, I could not get- BUT I got a bunch of new one's that we have never done before:
Lunches:
T Rex (new to him)
Yak and Yeti ( did it before)
Germany ( too tired to remember name lol (new to us))
Liberty Tree Tavern ( did it for dinner before)
Dinner:
Kouzzina (new to us)
Flying Fish (new to us)
Brown Derby ( one of our favs)
Bistro De Paris (new to us)
Along with the family dinners: One at Fultons ( new to us) have to do it because that is going to be my name by the end of the trip lol
and Le Cellier woohoooo ( thanks to my parents)
The Germany restaurant is the Biergarten. And Bistro de Paris is one of my favorites - really elegant without feeling stuffy. You can still go in park storming clothes, but between the fine food and the French waiters it'll be one of the most romantic locations you'll ever experience!
I am already in the talks about where to eat for December...

My son and I finalized our dining plans yesterday (I had a few more ADRs than I wanted/needed), so we made the final cut. We have:
Mother's Day late lunch at Coral Reef Cafe
Dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe
Dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Breakfast at Tusker House (character meal, before the park opens)
Dinner at Yak & Yeti
Late breakfast at Boma
Early dinner at 'Ohana (the same day as Boma - this is our resort-exploring day)
Late breakfast at Cape May Cafe (character meal)
I can't wait! I have only been to Coral Reef Cafe before. If anyone has any tips about where we should ask to sit in any of these restaurants, please let me know. I do know to ask to sit by the glass at the Coral Reef Cafe.
Thanks Dan!
I'm not going until 1st May 2013, we're doing 1 night on I-Drive, 3 nights in the Bahamas on the Disney Dream and 14 nights at Port Orleans Riverside. It's just me and my boyfriend and we'll be 23 and 25 when we go. Being the planner that I am I have pretty much decided on where we're going to be eating. I haven't been since my 10th birthday in 1999, and my boyfriend also went in 1999 (we didn't know each other then) so it almost feels all new to us again!
I used to work as a character and dancer at Disneyland Paris but luckily it hasn't ruined the magic for me - phew. I was worried about that when I accepted the job but I'm sure I'm more excited now than I was when I was 9!
We have the standard Dining Plan and will just be having the quick service meals and snacks as and when we feel like them. We will also be visiting Universal, Islands of Adventure, and Busch Gardens, which means we can have a few Signature/Dinner Show meals on the other days. The table service meals I have provisionally thought about making ADRs for are, in no particular order as we haven't decided on our itinerary yet:
Palo on the Disney Dream
Cindy's Royal Table (breakfast)
Grand Floridian Cafe (breakfast)
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre
California Grill
Hoop-De-Doo Revue
Rainforest Cafe DD (Although the food isn't the best, it's a bit of a tradition for us, we like to go in London and Disneyland Paris too)
House of Blues
Boatwrights
Via Napoli (I have a feeling I changed this but I can't remember what to, so perhaps I didn't).
Plus a couple of Citywalk restaurants when we're at Universal/IOA.
I've been reading the thread and I like the sound of the San Angel Inn, so perhaps I might swap this in place of Via Napoli. I am also intrigued by the rumoured Be Our Guest restaurant which may be worth swapping with Cindy's. I want to go to the Rose & Crown (I went last time but can't really remember), but I live around the corner from a Rose & Crown pub at home so perhaps I shouldn't waste a dining credit there
Does anybody have any better suggestions for us? We're open to anything, although I have to say that German/Norwegian cuisine doesn't really appeal hugely.
Any advice would be appreciated!
ps. sorry about the huge post, once I get excited I can't stop typing
I think it sounds like a fun list of places! Go with your gut....literally and figuratively!

July Trip to VWL.
Only two ADR's. Got a full kitchen and will be cooking a lot trying to save the $$$. Plus we drive and bring our own food, then hit Publix for stuff we need. Seasoned at staying off site as well. Anyway, picking one favorite and one new one.
Whispering Canyon Cafe (Favorite)
Paradiso 37 (New) Menu looked good as well as the Food Pics wishiwasthere posted in the food pics thread!
We ate at Paradiso 37 a couple years ago, every thing was great! Hope you enjoy it.
We are trying WC for the first time this year.
